Default Hogan 1/200 list

Selling my models as i am saving for my ATP. All models are new and come with their original boxes. Shipping by UPS ground with tracking from NYC. After you let me know the airplanes you wish to purchase ( along with their appropriate listing number so it will be easier for me to take them off my list ) we can negotiate a price depending on the stuff you're buying.

Thanks

There are some highly sought-after models in the sell list including EVA Koala Festival, ANA yellow Pokemon 747, Qantas Wunala Dreaming II, and Malaysia Hibiscus. Hogan model list is very impressive and many ANA official wide-body aircraft models are in it.

Thank you very much ST. I received two of my missing SAA models, including my holy grail, the Hogan SAA A340-600. Arrived safe and sound and I have ordered four more planes consequently at a reasonable price (as opposed to another seller on DAC who wanted the price of an Inflight model 'because the model was hard to get'. I am so glad that ST made these available and is not out to shill fellow collectors.

Was great doing business with him and can recommend. :-)

This seller has become a real nightmare to me. He used to be a reliable guy but since December that I bought a couple of models to him, he has just turned into a ghost. Replies while he wants and always saying "sorry, I have been very ocupied due my business trips".

I bought to him 2 Hogan/Limox models, a Lufthansa B744 "50 years" and a Lufthansa Cargo B772LRF, they were paid as we agreed on early December. Due his businesses trips, he delayed the shipment because he was moving from New York to London. A week later I asked for updates about my shipment and he answered a week later telling me the models had been posted. He just sent a picture of the envelop and a Royal Mail ticket without trace number. Never shared a tracking code, I guess because he or his cousin sent the parcel by 1st class mail, we had agreed "Signed-For registered". He replied to me telling he had asked to his cousin to post the items to me because he was out of home and he couldn't find the trace number. Seller said he would ask for info about my parcel to Royal Mail, never gave any update.

January gone, nothing. Febraury gone, no sign of him or the models. On March I wrote to him asking about the info of the shipment he didn't know what to say. That he felt sorry about my lost and he would try to compensate me with another models of his list, he would try to contact me later to discuss our problem but another month has gone and my patience has ended. I was the one who always was worried about this issue.

I made a couple of transactions with this member before and both were quite smooth deals, this time was a total failure and I felt like being robbed. I never put a claim at PayPal due what I have explained before, I trusted this seller but it was a HUGE mistake.

BEWARE PEOPLE!

Default Re: Joy Mukhejee, where are you?

hey thanks for the review.

In my defense :-

1) i posted the models to you, and as proof i sent you the receipt and a photo of a package that had the address / phone number that you gave me. - so it was not just "any photo" i sent you.

2) you have purchased models form me many times before as you say and they have all been good? why would i want to run away with your money for these 2 Lufti models? when i have got loads more models to sell.

3) I asked you to wait a month or 2, as one of my friends told me some times MExico post with hold their packages for a long long time, and just ask him to wait as it will come.

4) If mexico post has eaten your package! i am not going to be held responsible for it. I have the receipt as proof that i posted the models to you. I sent you an email THE VERY DATE i posted the package to you. It was not some random email.

5) You conveniently forgot to mention that i even offered you any other model from my collection as compensation for your loss. I refuse to send you back the money for your purchase as i was not responsible for the loss of the models. and just because i lost the tracking number does not make me guilty of fraud.

6) Yes, indeed the tracking was misplaced as my cousin posted the model. In order for you to have it earlier. and i am very sorry about it, and i am happy to buy you another Lufti 777 cargo if you like, and you can search for an alternative for the Lufti 747 50th model, which has a similar value.

7) i have been terribly busy these last few months as i am changing jobs etc, and i have honestly meant and kept up every good intension of mine. Please contact me for the models that i can offer you as replacement.

8) After this , showdown, please do not email me asking me for any more models from my collection for a future deal. Hasta la vista amigo

Default Keep the money!

My turn to replicate.

1) YOU didn't send the models. It was your cousin according all your explanation, right? I have that clear and by the way, the items were not sent by a shipping option we had agreed. Am I lying? The photo and the receipt are now a 0 to the left.

2) Yes, I purchased many models from you before, I trusted on you and never put a claim on PayPal during the 45 days. HUGE mistake by me, never happening again. Businesses are businesses, no matter if it is between brothers or friends. Now, I have that clear.

3) I waited for over 3 months, wrote to you a message and you replied to me after a week or 15 days, in a pair of occasions, telling me always you was busy. That you will find out what happened to the shipment. I never received a message from you, I was always the one who put in contact with his counterpart. Am I lying in this too?

I have received packages from Australia, the most it takes to arrive is about 5 or 6 weeks. From France, they take about 4 weeks to be delivered. From Germany, parcel take from 2 or 4 weeks. From UK, from 3 to 4 weeks at most. From Hong Kong, takes from 7 days to 3 weeks at most. From USA, in less than 7 days or 15 days as maximum.

4) The model were shipped on November 17th of 2014. I sent the first message by the end of December. 6 months have gone and there is no sign from them. Guess why, oh yeah because your cousin didn't pick the right option. Are you not going to take that responsibility? I made the deal with you not with your cousin, have the pants to accept it. Am I still lying?

5) Did I? Read carefully my first post. As for your counteroffer, NO, I am not interested in other models of your list. I paid for those specifically models because they are missing in my Lufthansa. I don't want any other kind of models, that's why I asked for my refund. Is that clear?

Don't come to me with that game of "how convenient, you didn't mention this" because you was the first to play that game. You never told me your cousin had sent the items incorrectly by 1st class shipment, I had to find that out by myself.

6) Bad move from you, I repeat the deal was between you and I. Not with your cousin or whoever sent the models. If you knew you were so occupied to sent the models on time, why the heck you didn't say that to me before? By the way, don't bother to get those models. I bought a new ones already.

7) Is that my fault too? A quick message to me explaining the situation should have worked. We could have discussed and maybe we could have worked it out. A message telling, " hey, you know what? I am very busy due this, can't send the items until this date. Do you have any problem?" but you never wrote to me.

Am I lying when I say I was the one who tried to make contact with you always?

8) You call this a showdown?!

How would you react after seeing a transaction that didn't work and all you got from your counterpart is nothing but "Sorry, I have been busy"? I think you would be pissed off too. 6 months and my patience has gone, glad you make act of presence here. I hope you were that kind of responsive directly to me before. Now that someone spoils the party, you show off. How curious.

You offered a replacement. I said: NO, I paid for certain models, not for replacements. I requested my refund and now you simply washed out your hands telling it was not your fault. How convenient!!!

You let me down Joy. We had an arrangement, I paid to you on time. You simply didn't respect our transaction with the merely action that you didn't post the item, someone else did it for you. And guess what? It didn't work it for you neither for me, unfortunately.

Keep the money, seems you need it more than me.

Hasta nunca JERK!

PS: Please, stop asking to other members to edit their previous comments. How embarrassing!

most of these seem to be making appearances on Ebay.

I did hear back from Joy regarding the models I wanted but the prices being asked were CRAZY. As an example, the old livery QF744 was $70 but i won it on eBay for less than $40 which i think is still a little on the expensive side, but far better than the original asking price.

anyone else had similar experiences?

Default Public apologize

Hello everyone:

First of all, I want to make a public apology to our fellow member Joy Mukherjee or "suicidal tendencies".

4 weeks ago I made purchase via eBay without the acknowledge that I was making a transaction with this same DA.C member until I was about to proceed with the checkout at PayPal. I made contact with the seller and sent him an e-mail asking if he wanted to proceed with the transaction after the previous unfortunate situation we experienced. Respect was always present and my counterpart accepted to proceed with the purchase.

After minor arrangements about the shipment I received the model 2 weeks ago and have to say it was a very smooth transaction. My counterpart even took the matter to make a phone call to me to let me know when does the shipment would come to my location.

A week ago, he sent a message letting me know that he had received the parcel from our previous transaction. The parcel was returned to sender without any explanation. As some of you know, the seller travels a lot due his work. Joy is frequently travelling to the UK and coming back to the US, the Hogan models that I bought to him were sent from the UK. So, he asked me if I was still interested in those model, I answered him, yes. We agreed that the Hogans must be sent from the US once he is back in US territory.

After the last desperate 5 months without notice of the parcel, my previous comment on this thread and the last transaction I have made with this seller; all I have to express is a HUGE apology to Joy Mukherjee. Things didn't work as I expected, I got in a very mad mood (after 5 months) and the rest is as you know here.

Sorry if I caused any damage to you, thanks for your honesty and time. We have a pending shipment.

Erik.

what a great outcome....

BUT, it doesnt excuse the lack communication. anyway, glad it worked out in the end.

I was hesitant to deal with Joy because of your post, but it now seems that concern was ill founded. I bought two models from him on ebay and despite communication being a little sketchy, the deal was done with minimal fuss and I would have no issue buying from him again ;-)

.....members, Joy Mukhejee/suicidal tendencies (a contradiction in names!) is an absolute pleasure to deal with from all of my experiences of dealing and buying from him.......

.....he has a very busy travel/work lifestyle but has done a mammoth job of getting models dispatched to all corners of the world as professionally as possible and often will haul models/boxes with him so he can despatch them as best he can to the buyer. His prices are decent and fair and he always follows up on every sale in the end.....

.....I would not hesitate for a second in buying from him again. He packages these models to the highest degree of safety I have ever seen from anybody/any-shop so he knows they will arrive as best as possible from when they left his hands. Remember too people these were models from his amazing collection. They would have been very hard to part with and I take my hat off to him to sell off such a vast and somewhat rare collection of 1:200 models.....

.......Kudos to you Joy for you have brought 'joy' to me and my growing collection .... I have added some amazing models to my fleets and I owe that to you, cheers....... Joe
