Default Herpa Premium Lufthansa B747-400 "Hannover Expo 2000"

I am still a bit on the fence, but may consider to part with my Herpa Premium Lufthansa B747-400 D-ABVK for offers over 500US$ + shipping from the UK.

The model is MINT and WHITE, and comes with the original box.

Default This is ridiculous

......and where are the pictures?

Why the people on this forum is so lazy to share the pictures of the models they are selling at once instead of that crap of "send me a DM with your offer or e-mail for more info"?

$500USD?! What is made of? gold? Man, I have been purchasing these Modell Edition for over a year and NO ONE has ever exceeded the price of 150 EUR plus shipping. They are all perfectly white (with the exception of one of my 747), in original box and with certificate.

1000 units were made of this 747 "Hannover", so what makes this one so special to reach that price? Not even the Herpa Premium American Airlines A300 that I got had that price and that's rarest model than yours.

Have you received any offers yet? Because I can make one but I need to see the model in pictures.

Good day!

He can ask what he wants, no need to attack him here. Just don't buy it.

I think if you could get this model under US $600 is a steal. I know this model is a super rare model and heard the last two private transactions was under US $600. If the model goes to Evil Bay....who knows...would probably be more higher....$$$$$$$

This whole "rare" model situation is getting totally out of control. Some people must have more money than sense IMO.I have many rare models myself but keep within my self control limits for those i don't have.
Eventually manufacturers will re-release all rare models.

None of my Modell Edition Lufthansa B747's was bought for more than 150EUR inclusive either, but they are not in the same league with the Herpa Premium Lufthansa "Hannover".

Anyway, if you complain about the price, I don't see the point in asking for the photos. Photos are more important to those interested in the bird.

Hannover is THE BEST 747 in 1/200 you can get, even better than KLM "Atlanta", I think. She is painted white so she will never get yellow, while the other three still might one day, and that combination of green and white is just stunning...
Asking price of 500 is better than fair. I have done some trades with leoteo in the past and he once even said my offer was too high and asked for less...

Cheers,

Tomas

I complain about all of those listings posted here on this forum (including yours) without pictures. What's the purpose of selling if you are not showing the item? THAT'S POINTLESS!

Taken from the rules and regulations sticky post:

Remember if you have an item for sale, then describe it thoroughly, and post a picture, if possible. Remember to also state what scale it is, and the manufacturer. This saves everybody time.
I guess most of members here take "if possible" as "if you are in the mood of/ if you are not lazy enough/if you want someone begs for pictures to you".

I am after one of these models but as you don't want to share pictures at once. Why should I bother making you an offer?

Good luck with your sale!

Yes, I broke that rule but at least I can say the price you are requesting is far beyond the average price showed in the database.

I got two offers, both for 500$ shipped (one to Australia and one to the US). Postage in both cases would be a killer, and so they were a bit less than what I expected. I therefore decide to keep the bird. Thanks everyone anyway.

Two more offers, and the bird is now SOLD.

Dear Sir,
you broke t least 2 rules. Below we have listed the most serious one for your review.

9. You can't sell a model here in DAC while in dispute due to break other rules. You must return the money to the buyer and pay for the shipping for returning the model. You have the option to let the buyer keep the model and avoid other penalties/fees for your mistake. We are sending you a private message with the bill and the proper warning.

Best Regards,
The DAC team

I think 500 USD for the "Hannover" is worthwhile! You can't even see the model on evil bay now...
