Just so you know, the Herpa Breast Cancer 767 hasn't been released yet and I don't think it's scheduled to hit retailers until July.

Well if you are not him then it is very unfortunate, however the fact you are asking for the same models and offering the same models is some coincidence I would say.
And also you only registered recently, coincidentally around the same time your alter ego stopped posting !!!

well lets see... i count 4 threads in the forsale/trade section here you are trying to do something with two aircraft (PHX LH 748i & Delta CRJ-900 normal livery) the same two aircraft that are in ANA700-300ER-COLLECTORS signature, recent arrivals. you seem to like plenty of exclamation points as N.Eberhard pointed out, and love Deltas. ANAs name is "also" Dylan, what a coincidence... sure sounds like the same person to me!

And copied from a PM i got from "ANA747-300ER-COLLECTOR" below:

Can you propose a starting price for it? I really am a neewbie with widgets

Still, I suggest not publishing the entire PM without permission.

To be fair, it looks like the two accounts were active at the same time - here on the same topic.

http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...s-1-400-a.html

whatever that means for the allegations here.

Yes, it's easy to do. If you are right, I wonder if it was an accident - the person signed on using the wrong personality? That'd be pretty funny.

if somebody did a careful comparison of the posts of the two users, we should be able to really tell.

edit : i'll post a comparison later.

After wasting an hour on this, here is what I see.

There is reason to think that CarbonFlyber and ANA777-300ER-COLLECTOR are the same person, or at least acting together. If the moderators are paying attention, they can check the IP addresses.

If I made minor errors, I apologize.

1. Both say they are named Dylan. ANA signs as Dylan here, while Carbon says he is Dylan in this very topic.

2. ANA joined March 4, 2014 and stopped (or slowed) posting around May 6, 2014. Carbon joined on May 6, 2014.

3. The timing and circumstances of the switch is interesting. ANA argues with N. Eberhard on May 6, 2014. ANA acts as if Eberhard lost a big customer. Other members have stated that ANA is annoying. Then Carbon joins the website and immediately joins that same topic, and acts in a way that seems weird unless Carbon and ANA are the same person. Judge for yourself.

4. Both Carbon and ANA had a habit of flooding the forum with multiple topics in the sale/trade/swap section.

Here, ANA lists the same thing twice in quick succession - starting a new topic instead of editing the first to correct some errors. In one of these, ANA gets called out for being unreliable, and ANA doth protest too much.

Again here, with one of them in the 1:400 forum. Carbon chimes in at the end of one of these, in a weird way. Not the only time Carbon came in at the end of a topic where ANA was active.

Then Carbon also floods the site with very similar sales topics in quick succession. And yet again.

And some just silly wanted posts.

5. Similar wantlists.

ANA and Carbon are looking for many of the same Gemini Delta, United and jetBlue models.

6. The saga of the GJ DL CRJ-900 - the two users were constantly trying to buy, trade or sell this model

7. A general pattern of immature behaviour and writing, from both members. Other users are annoyed, or have previously suspected Carbon has several accounts.

Ok I found out why I kept being blamed for stuff I didn't do. My brother, Alex, who is 12 years old recently got a laptop for his bday. We both share an interest in aviation. So I created him an account for DAC under the name Dylan (my name). Essentially, I was going to stick with Wings900, but then I joined DAC also. The only problem was I had to come up was another last name so people wouldn't get confused about whos who. Ok, for the models, I have some models that me and my brother both chipped in to buy. So we share a few of the models. Thats why some of our posts have the same models. Me and Alex tried to sell the models we bought. I told him that when I have the time to make a DAC account I will sell them from my account cause I am older. Anyways, again Alex didn't listen to me and he posted a for sale thread for the models. Alex also made a deal with a man named John. R. Smith, later he decided he didn't want the deal. so he started to spam the guy. Sorry about that John. When he writes PMs, Alex signs with the name 'Dylan' so people wont think he's a fake cause his home page says his name is Dylan. Thats how the confusion started. My parents have banned him from using this forum again and he won't be able to use his laptop for a month. Very sorry about this. At first I was very confused about all the hate on me until I realized what Alex was doing. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Alex won't go this forum again or any forum again any time soon and when he does again, he will be on close moderation. Thank you for understanding.

Default Re: Huge list of 1:400 models!

G'day all,

I've been spending the past few days investigating both 'CarbonFlyber' and 'ANA777-300ER-COLLECTOR' and come to the conclusion that they are indeed the same person.

Reasons include the same name for both, the same contact email address used for both and most starkly for me, that fact that both sign off at exactly the same time, down to the second.

The above reasons given by CarbonFlyber do not stand up. Even if his brother does indeed have a computer too, what are the chances they both log off, time after time at exactly the same time, unless of course it's the same computer being logged off and shutting down!

I have the IP address and some other evidence now stored and if or more likely when "Dylan" tries to re-join, I will receive notice and no doubt ban him again

Please feel free to contact me directly at
[email protected]
If any member has any further concerns.

I apologise for taking longer than normal to investigate, however atm I am in hospital receiving further treatment. My time on-line is limited, to say the least.

Cheers Lou

So is our hypothesis that there was a single computer, but two different browsers, like one logged in on Chrome, and the other logged in on IE? When the computer is turned off, both are logged off at the same time?

We've had a kid with multiple user names before - I wonder if this is a repeat offender.

I am sure he will be pleased to hear this and probably has it on Pre-order by now. now he'll just have to decide which address to have it shipped to.... the one in Annapolis, MD or the one in LA as he claims he lives at in post #22!
