Default Bye bye lcy 1:200:(

I am now going to sell my LCY (London City) airport as it really does take up quite a bit of space and is hassle to get around it!
I know it is gonna take a while for it to go as it cannot be picked up in one piece due to the size but I'm willing to wait for the right buyer to come
Will post some pics later
As a result of the airport going I'm going to sell some models that I don't need if LCY is not there including all my GSE and a few airliners IE Swiss BAe-146s and a few others
I am keeping the VLM F50 and Luxair Dash-8 as they are my favs!
Anyway
Offers will be considered if anybody is interested
I will post the models for sale on my sale list in the next few hours

Please view this thread
http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...-finished.html

I will post more pics tomorrow but I have to say it it at least over 1 metre wide and a few metres in length
This means if you want to collect it I will have to cut it into sections which means all the lighting will have to be disconnected etc
And I haven't thought of a price yet so we can work out if you make me an offer

Some complications you will have to deal with

My dad lives in a flat and it will be impossible to get it out in one piece as we would either have to go down the stairs or in the lift

Not all the lights work as some blow or die which happens all the time

And no lights will be working if I have to cut it but all you have to do is solder each line back together again

Pricing: make an offer

and I will also chuck into the offer the batteries for the lighting and my home made paper GSE!

And can I have your email address please for pics and if anybody else wants pics send me a message

If you get 50 quid then take it and run.

Anybody for £50?!!!
Much less than what it could be worth considering all the man made stuff solder iron lighting etc!!
Most likely to be a UK buyer too!!

Sorry I shouldn't have been so adamant with my original comment... your airport is quite nice though, you did a great job.

Honestly, this really isn't worth a lot... It's pretty much just paper that anyone can build. Let's face it too, it's not realistic for 1:200 diecast models, so you should probably give it away or find someone local.

Your opinion isn't worth much, either. He wasn't asking for criticism, just a buyer. If you don't want to buy it and you don't like it, maybe you should hold your opinion. I'm sure a lot of pride and imagination went into this construction.

Maybe donating it to the actual LCY airport would be nice.
