I was sure I had one of these, which you could of had for what I payed for it $40.00 USD. But I do not. This is the second time this week I was sure I had a model to offer someone, and I don't remember trading it.

Thanks for checking!

Looks like this one will be harder to find than I thought. I guess I am looking for the Horan OR Herpa version at this point.

Just be aware the Herpa version has added details on the wings and horizontal stabs that the Hogan does not have. (Same holds true for Herpa vs. Hogan on the UA Battleship 744 and 772 models.)

According to the link, two different stands available. Is the silver stand a sample,or a second run of the model? And the winglets are different

Something tells me the photo of the model with the silver stand and unpainted winglets is a sample. I also noticed the airline name/logo and aircraft designation are not printed on the base of the silver stand.

Is anyone looking for a large NW (new colours) fleet, I am selling to sell off mine. Includes

744, A330, 752, 753, 787, HE 747 World plane, A319, Starjets A320. Looking to sell it all as a set. Some have no boxes, and one has a wheel glued back on.

Ok, I'll bite.
Which manufacturer and which color schemes on the models, particularly the 744?

Nice model. I presume your model is not for sale?

Here is a photo I had taken (as well as posted here on DAC a long time ago). Most are Hogans as you can see, except for the Starjets A320. The 752 and 753 have no boxes.

The single aisle jets

The only Herpa is the World Plane

Let me know if you are interested. We can then settle on a price. I just basically need to reduce my collection and hoping this can be sold as a set.

Socatec has the model in stock but the conversion rate and shipping won't be pretty for a Hogan model. At that point spring for the detailed Herpa.

The prevailing opinion seems to be go for the Herpa. If anyone reading has the Herpa Model, I'm interested, but I'll post a separate thread as well.

Thanks, but I was looking for the Bowling Shoe livery.

Besides, I don't think the color that Hogan used on the Northwest Final Scheme looks right. It looks like metal flake, with the metal flakes way too big, and a strange gold tint. I had the Northwest 787 and got rid of it for that reason.

Thanks anyway though.

Thanks for the tip, but you are right. The shipping is almost as much as the model. An $80 Hogan is pretty expensive.

No worries, just thought I'd let you know the model maker since you asked, and added the pics since I had them from a long time ago. I think I'll just have to keep the models

Thanks for the opportunity to showcase them on your thread

For those looking for the Hogan version, try the ebay seller below. Joe, that's another one that you owe me. Some interesting Hogan models form this seller. Prices are slightly high, but some rare models amongst them.

AviatorSoft items - Get great deals on Boeing 757-300 Northwest Airlines N582NW items on eBay Stores!
