Kyosho 1/18 hotness
With the larger scale 1;200 flooding my shelves, I got inspired to start collecting mid-market supercars. The first if you remember was the Lambo Espada, the second a Porsche 928S, and thirdly a stunning Lotus Esprit Type 79.
Having been securely hooked on this models two more arrived this week. Here's a peek via Iphone camera.
First up is the stunning grasshopper green Lamborghini Urraco. This car is a bit overlooked due to the scissor door LP-400----5000S Countach, Jota, and mind boggling Miura. After watching lots of YouYube on the Urraco, one can really gain an appreciation for it's sleek lines and wonderful chatter at full bore.
Then we have the Ferrari Boxer 512BB. When it arrived, it obviously squared off with the Countach effort by Lamborghini. The Boxer and Countach were the highest benchmark cars of their day. Their potency to make one dream of horsepower and jaw dropping eye appeal hasn't been diluted one bit (IMO), since the day they were introduced.
