Since Pacmin is one of the leaders in 1/100 Scale models, would it be great to have a thread just to display some Pacmin 1/100 scale models? Let's see some of your Pacmin models displayed here. Pacmin only Please! If you want post something else other than Pacmin then please start a new thread.
OK. I'll break the ice, sort of speak.
In these photos you have (and a little history, which helps)
1. B767-400 on the inaugural tour in 2000 these models were flown to the Farnborough air show and have the decal aft of the Co-Pilot window. I acquired it from a very good friend in Germany. It is probably one of the nicest Pacmin I have ever seen.
2. On the photo Canadian 767-300 you can see the nose section. Notice how it slopes straight down, which wasn't a real good mold. The PW767 is better, but quite a bit older. Both are Pacmin's scale 1/100
3. One of the nicest mold Pacmin made were these 1/60th scale Boeing 737-200's. I have 2 Delta's and one Canadian North. I just love these models, at that scale. The Delta's came from a very good friend in Michigan, who happens to probably have the largest Pacmin 1:100th collection that I know of. He didn't want the 1:60th and sold them to me.
4. photo number 4 is a close up of a Delta 1:60th. This one with the hush kit decal on the engine.
5. On another photo there is a picture of a house 727 in 1-100th. I was surfing the net one night and this one came up for sale at the Boeing plant. They only had one left. It is a very old mold and probably had been forgotten in the back room. Beside it you can see the nose of a nicer 767 1:100th Pacmin mold in house colors. It has the proper slope down.
6. Finally the Pacific Western 1:100th in a closer mug shot. This angle doesn't do justice ot the nose which is actually pretty accurate from another angle.
I will have to upload in another reply as I am only allowed 5 at a time and I can't upload the close up of the PW767.
Well I have a lot more, but that should get things started.
Just to finish up my first uploads.
1. A close up of the house 727. A bit of glare off the camera flash. It is mint and a great mold. What I mean by that is that it looks so accurate, at first glance on the shelf.
2. A close up of an older mold Boeing 727 by Pacmin of an Orca Bay livery. The NHL Vancouer Canucks and the NBA Grizzly's used that plane for a few years. The nose section of this very airplane is now on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. I have original decals and that very same Pacmin mold and will refinish it someday and then sell it.
3. A close up of the PWA 767. The nose looks weird and short and that is just bad camera angle. It is actually quite accurate.

Reason: Dead photo link
Sorry for being a little off-topic - but the nicest model in this thread is the giant 1:50 Lufthansa 727 in the background. 40 years old and made by the master himself: Mr. Verkuyl from Badhoevedorp.

All those Pacmins look great guys. Especially like the SP. I have a 1/100 777-200 in Bangladesh Biman colours, by Pacmin of course. She is a much loved and possibly unusual model but I would let her go for an SP!

Here are some of my favourite PacMins... (i haven't got a Peter Max 777 photo handy and neither do i have a handy photo of Air Force One - I know they are not rare, but, i do like them!)
Allow me to include one Space Model that I really like - the Air Jamaica A340 (so bright!). I couldn't resist.
I have about 35 pacmins....here are a few...a similar MD-11 on ebay last year sold for 1400.00!

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"
Yes that is a lovely model but I stopped myself from getting one because I ended up getting 2 Pacmins for less than the price of the IL-96 and that stretched side cockpit window was a long time irritant for me.

I thought you said what pacmins.... Pictures please
Anyway have you had a good look at that AA 747SP. Its got the wings of a 747-100/200/300 with the canoe fairings under the wings. Looks like Pacmin didn't want to invest in special 747SP wings and just used the conventional 747 ones.
