Thumbs up 1/33 Condor 727 Finished!!

At last the model is finished and hanging together with the dc-9. The next model to build will be a Transavia Caravelle, another often visitor of my local airport in the beginning of the seventies. Will be also in 1/33 scale and i will start the model in some months.

I suppose that Austrian is a DC-9 or a MD-80.

I will add to the compliments...

Absolutely amazing models. They look literally like a real airplane that has been shrunk. In fact they look more real than the real thing.

Jesus, what is your history as a model maker? Has it all been as a hobby? Have you ever had any kind of "training" or do you just have alot of experience? Because these models are seriously real museum pieces, and I would love to be able to create such models myself one day. Please, let me in on what I need to know in order to get on the path of becoming a master modeler such as yourself.

To mike:
Modelling that kind of planes is only a matter of patience and perseverance. Of course, some kind of skill is necessary but with the two things above and time any target can be reached.

I´m starting the building of a boeing 707 in the same scale and i have drawn some plans and stencils. If you want to know some tips or learn about the construction of those airliner models send me an email.

To Boeing SST:

Yes, the Douglas dc-8 is one of my favorite classic planes. A Spantax or may be a Scannair one is on my mind for the next future.

I´m now with the BEA Airtours 707-400, next model will be a Transavia Caravelle and next the dc-8. (but remenber we are talking about some years...)

Default My latest projects

Hi everybody, i´m always here! but not too much time to build or post in the past months. Anyway, i continue with my projects on the desk and i´m now designing some classic british airliners in the big 1/33 scale as always. I post some pics of the latest projects. Those are only printed beta parts and not painted as the final plane, most of them in black and white or not matching the exact BEA blue but could also serve as lovely quick cardmodels to print and build. I will post images when start the making of any final model.

Thumbs up i HAVE WORKED AROUND THE REAL THING FOR YEARS

And after looking at these pictures I'am asking myself if I was dreaming about working around all the PSA 727's. These models are absolutely beautiful. My hats off to a great artisan with quite a bit of skill.

Thanks for sharing your pictures as well as your models with us. WR

Sorry to bump an incredibly old thread, but Jesus, if you're still around, I was wondering if you could re-post pics of this masterpiece. I know someone who would be interested in taking a look at them, plus I'm sure a lot of the newer members who never got a chance to see this amazing model the first time around might appreciate a look!

Thanks for the link Jesus! It's been years since I first saw pics of that Condor 727 model, but I am still just as amazed by it. It would be really cool if you posted a little bit about the build-process of your models!

Hi all:

I post a couple of pics of the Austrian card model dc-9 just for reference because i´m quite sure that you have already seen them. Many of you have told me many times how beautiful and real are these planes and also have told me that these are so real that the only thing that is missing on them is that they could really fly... well

SEE THIS VIDEO BECAUSE I CAN´T BELIEVE IT!!!

How are these models made ???

Did you build this beauty completly from card stock and then applied a metal finish? what did you do for its landing gear strut and tire? how about the cabin? is the cabin aftermarket part or is scratchbuilt?
