Default Looking For a Very Large Beaver on Floats Model

I have a work client who has asked me to find him a very large de Havilland Beaver on floats model. He wants to hang it in the rafters of his cottage on the lake and wants a wingspan of at least 6-8 feet and perhaps even bigger. He would like an authentic version.

I have been looking at the RC Giant Models but thought I would put it out here for any idea's.

Thank you in advance.

I think that it would probably have to be one of the very large R/C models you mention, or a custom build. Could be worth talking to Atlantic Models or similar, or if price is no object, maybe even Pacmin! Either way, at that size it’ll look impressive.

Neil.

I think he is trying to be not too crazy with the price so I think a custom built model may be a stretch unless these is already one for sale somewhere around.

Hi Skythings,

Found an R/C de Havilland Beaver on floats model which is a fairly large scale airplane, but not as big as you're looking for:

https://www.generalhobby.com/dynam-b...dy-p-1115.html

I've also seen many R/C model collectors, offer their models for sale on Craigslist, from time to time.

Best of luck in your continued search.

Thank you- I had actually looked at that exact one and it was put into the maybe box. I have also been watching the RC Forums. They have Forums just like this one.
