Re: L-1011 1/100 scale restored.
Nice work...where do you buy the 747 1/100 engines?
Cheers Sergio

I have always really liked this "Boeing roll-out livery". As a young lad I vividly recall the National Geographic & Life Mag pictures of the B747 Roll-out ceremonies back in 1969. I was fascinated with the B747. I remember seeing my first B747 at the Calgary Airport while sitting in a residential district on a hill about one mile west of the Airport as it rolled down the south runway taking off. From it's profile side view it looked like it was going way too slow to fly because of it's size- but it did. So this livery to me was very important for me to preserve. So that's exactly what I am doing. I happened to have a vintage Pacific Miniatures stand on-hand from an old long gone model and I sourced four new engines and I'm in the process of a mini restoration. I'm right now in the primer painting & sanding stage of the underside. Here are the pictures of where I'm at with it thus far.
Please resume on back on course regarding Tony's gorgeous L1011 restoration.
