Default PANAGRA DC7B by DFM

I managed to snag this DFM DC7B on ebay the other day....I offered an amount that is a little high for one of these models in this shape, and I was pretty sure they would not accept, but hey, SURPRISE...now its mine (at least it is headed in my direction). photo courtesy of ebay seller

What a find! A real piece of aviation history.

Congratulations! Nice air frame and livery! So does she stay original or get a makeover/refresh?

Thanks. She will stay in the somewhat worn but original "hangar find" she is in...there is enough of the old girls makeup left that I wont mind looking at her on a daily basis. I'll probably polish up the bare metal parts and see if I have an extra set of props for her but that will be the extent of my laying hands on her appearence.

Hi M404,

Very nice classic model, indeed.

Best of luck with your new addition.

Regards, Robert

This is a fantastic model other than the tarnishing of the metal. Im sure the seller did not expect to get the original asking price of $3500 but its a tactic used by ebay sellers to over inflate prices so that unknowing buyers feel obligated to offer at least half or around that amount and think they got a good deal. Unless ofcourse a buyer knows its true worth than thats another story.
