Here are some teaser photos of the updated model from
the other thread which has been retooled to be offered as a 1:72 resin kit, rather than a 1:100 diecast product line, which fell through earlier this year due to the other party backing out.
The master pattern will be sent out to be professionally tooled before the end of next month, and it shouldn't be long after that before kits become available. This is only the beginning of hopefully a successful line of large scale, extremely accurate and highly detailed models which should please even the most picky of the rivet-counters. The price will be competitive with the BPK line of 737 kits, and 40% cheaper than the Authentic Airliners 1/72 727 series. Like the latter, these kits will feature solid resin fuselages and wings so novice builders should have no real problems with assembly.
I'll have a website up shortly and more detailed info for those that are interested. Also, I'll be looking to give a free kit to a select few "test pilots" who will assemble the very first kits, give their feedback and share photographs of the build to help showcase the model. (Paging Brad Shinn

). If that's something you'd be interested in, shoot me a PM!
It should be noted that these are renders of the 3D model, and not actual photographs. Zoom in and enjoy!
