Default DC8-71 Delta Metal Model

Just delivered today.

Delta DC8-71

Solid Metal - No Stand - Decalled. Looks like there may have been fans in the CFM56s.

At 16" works out about 1/144th.

No History available.

So anyone know maker?

It does look like it maybe originally made by McDonnel Douglas?

Usual ebay uk.....

I took a punt as it looked like it might have been mis-described and been plastic. But if you don't take a chance....

Just wish I had a bit of provenance..

Wow this is amazing! excellent condition. Just need a stand, preferably from the manufacturer.

Enjoy it.

Hi Aviaction,

It's a very interesting model indeed.

Might have been an "in house" Douglas Aircraft Model.

Depending upon the hole size underneath the model's fuselage, you might be able to find a model stand that might fit via PacMin:

https://www.pacmin.com/replacement-parts-guide/

Hope that this info helps.

Regards, Robert
