Default Pacmin 1/58 Boeing 720B refinish in MEA colours

Finished a current project I started working on back in April. A model of Middle East Airlines(MEA of Lebanon) Boeing 720B in 1/58 scale. Registered as OD-AGB, depicted in the final MEA colors she operated in when she was retired and sold to Pratt & Whitney Canada in 1995. She was a originally ordered by American Airlines and delivered in 1960 registered N7535A. She flew with American until she was retired and sold to MEA in 1973. She was 1st 720B to be delivered to MEA and remained active with the fleet until 1994. She was used as a training aircraft for flight training, and every so often flew a revenue or charter service out of Beirut until she was sold in 1995.

Very nice work. Your choice of the photo studio makes me nervous.

You know you can get the correct PACMIN stands for your 60th Pacmin 720B's from them directly for about $45 each. Aluminum upright walnut base. Just call them. Nice models and restoration. I have had a number of those over the years myself.
I have an extremely rare 48th scale Pacmin 720B about the rarest I have ever seen. Never seen 2 of them ever. One lll never sell for sure. Just about 3 feet long. Also have an extremely rare Pacmin 1/100 Boeing 720B in Boeing colors as well. Another one I have never seen another one of.
I actually got the fly on one of the last 2 Boeing 720B's that was in existence. 2008. It was Honeywell's owned (testbed) and sat behind the captain in the jump seat. We flew for about 3 hours in a documentary Henry Tenby did. I connected them to do that. What an experience and Henry filmed the whole thing. Not too many people can say they flew on one in these later years. I was very fortunate to get to do that. The Boeing 720B is my favorite Boeing jet for sure.

Actually I believe the Pacmin 1/60th scale model is actually a 1/64 scale. I have had allot of those models. I do not believe a 1/58th scale. Just an FYI.

Just curious...is the model solid resin or hollow fiberglass?

It seems like it’s solid metal. They’re very heavy. Other experts might know though
