Default Qantas Freight

I came across this photo, and wondered if someone can tell me more about it? I thought it was Pacmin, but it appears to have antenna. Of course, those could have been added. I love cargo planes, so this one caught my eye.

Very nice and an unusual model. My own theory is that it’s made by Lupa. I have one of those in 1/100 in MIAT Mongolian Airlines livery. Looking closely at the antenna, it looks like an ‘add on’ to me. The other possibility is that it’s a Skymarks Supreme model, but they usually have fixed gear (unfortunately), so my money’s on Lupa......possibly

I would say that the Antenna has been added.

The link is appreciated. I may need to get one for my cargo collection.

You’re welcome. So it is a Skymarks 1/130 model. It was difficult to gauge the scale from that original image. I have the BMI Baby -500 passenger version.

I was going to bid on a United Skymarks 737-500 model, but it had an incorrect registration on it.

That’s a shame, Skymarks don’t seem to make that kind of error too often, at least not in my experience of collecting them.

Off hand, I can't think of another one. I like it as it was a -500. Not a ton of -500 models around.

Well done David. Looks like a very nice model. Models of combis are not common.

This is indeed a Skymarks model with added navigation lights and antennae by our very own fellow DACer QantasF1!

Need to get one. Is it exclusive to the Australian market? Save on shipping if I can get it in America.

Don't know if it is David, but it looks like it can still be found online eg https://www.hobbyco.com.au/SKR5056

Cheers,
Terence.

PS Standard disclaimer, I have no affiliation with that seller.
