Default Pacmin Federal Express 737-200

I got this beauty in today. I tried calculating the scale several times, wingspan comes out to something like 1/59.XXX and length comes out to 1/60.XXX, so I'm gonna assume it's somewhere around 1/60 ! It desperately needs a new paint job. I'm wondering if anyone here does new finishes on these models or if they know someone (reliable) who does. I'm unsure of the era though, it appears to be original paint judging by the 'Pacific Miniatures' sticker on the bottom. Bonus pic of a 1/200 comparison included. I'd prefer to keep it in the federal express livery, as it adds to my fedex collection very well !

It would be nice to stick with FedEx. Can't wait to see it finished. Don't worry about all those scale numbers. BIG!

Seems to be 1/60. Not a common model with that livery on it. I think I’d be tempted to retain the Fed Ex livery.

Hi, keep the Fedex sheme, not common! 1/60 is the standard scale for Pacmin models made for Boeing narrowbody customer.

Likewise ! It was a lot bigger in person than in the photos.

Very nice model!!

I'm also curious about your 1/400 airport foil? Did you make it yourself?

Really nice catch....FE used these 737 for their experimental cargo/pax services to up the aircraft utilization rate with day/night operations....they discovered it was a lot more trouble and cost then the revenue generated so eventually phased out as the 737 was a marginal cargo performer for their global reach (but you probably already knew that)

That is an amazing model! Call me old school, but I just might keep it as is. Yes, the paint is a little rough, but it looks like a cargo plane that has seen a lot of use. And why mess with such a rare model? Just my 2-cents. Great find there!
