Boeing 747 refinish.

I have been working on this old girl on and off for over a year now. It is my first big project and there are many things that I would do differently the next time. That said it has been a true learning experience and everything learned will carry on to the next project. Additionally Al 707boeing has been very generous with good advice. It will ultimately be in Air Canada colours and hoping to do the black nose today. Nothing is certain in this game so we shall see LOL.

Very interesting project. Those replacement motors look terrific. Looking forward to seeing this model come back to life!

Applied one coat of silver to the engines today. A few rough spots so at least one more very light sand and paint.

My apologies Sergio for not responding right away. The engines came from Paul Benn in London UK. I also bought engines from him for the 1/72 B-747 that you are familiar with. Expensive but he is a great guy to deal with. Check with me off line if you need contact information.
