Skythings

Picked this up a few months back. No firm providence but was told it came from an estate of a person who worked at de Havilland.

Not sure who the maker is as there are no markings on the model and it was missing the stand. It is 1/72 scale one piece solid resin with control surface indentations into the model. It has a 16 inch wing span and is 15 inches long. There are no airline markings or window or door decals. I suspect it was repainted at some time with the intention of finishing it in the Air Greenland or Antarctic Survey livery.

I built the stand using a Herpa Pilatus 1/72 metal stand which I modified by adding a vertical post and attaching a stained oak plinth.
