Air Canada Collector

My now fully restored and glossed Westway 1:48 727 with home made stand and mint Space Models Air Canada 747 floor model have a happy home in this corner of my Air Canada Shrine. Earlier posts show how far this 727 has come. Now she belongs with her sisters again.

Also did AC actually had B744 in that livery?

Air Canada Collector

Yes the 747 came from Air Canada and it is absolutely 100% correct. They're both 1:48 scale, and much bigger than they look in the photos. Air Canada paid £4000 for the 747 and a similar size A-340 I have (they came with the bill). The 727 was a rescue from an antique store that required about 40-50 hours of work and then a graphic designer redid the decals for $350. It was originally Air Canada but a later livery so it's background is a mystery but it was likely in Air Canada's headquarters in Montreal where it was found.

Both are beautiful, but I especially like the livery on the 747.
