Default New Armour

I just bought a "Showtime 100" F4 off of Ebay, I had no idea this was coming, I also got a USMC Dauntless. They look great in the pictures and I know they'll be just as nice in person.
I still have yet to see a Hurricane up here and I've seen only one A10 so far, it looks as though FM is dragging their feet when it comes to Canadian distributors.
I'm going to wait as long as I can for the Hurri and A10 to get to my retailer but these two were too important to miss.
Anyone else buying the new Armours?

Ozz,
Go a couple of hurricanes and the one A-10 I ordered , apparently the first one released. it looks great, its Desert Storm type in green camo.
Interestingly the packaging of the new Armour(FM) is very similar to the old but if anything I found it improved.
Also got an early spit and another B-25 with a normal bomber configuration(clear nose).
I have been getting these from Wings and Wheels and their service is simply fantastic!
I have no local shop so mail order is my only choice. For Wings and Wheels the Armour/FM situation was never a problem and I felt I got more accurate information from them than from other retailers.
Let me see if I can paste the list of coming models for next year:

B-17 Bomber G Carolina Moon
B-17 Bomber G RAF 'Give it to Uncle'

I have one 'Cane (Royal Navy Operation Torch) and one 'Hog (Balkan's War) so far....they are both fantastic! Better attention to detail and better fit/ finish in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

One neat new thing- the wheels roll now- mains on the 'Cane- all three on the 'Hog. (may need to make some chocks for the 'Hog so she doesn't roll off the shelf......)

Rolling wheels on an Armour 1:48!!!! YIKES! That could cause some serious damage.
I guess a short length of model ship rope around a wheel will stop any unauthorized taxiing and look somewhat authentic.
What were they thinking, sheesh!

That looks like a pretty full plate from Amour for 03. Bought an A-10 and am very pleased with it. Now if only I can win the lottery and buy Armour back from Franklin Mint and lower prices life would be good. A 1/48 B-17? Oh my god!

I have great memories of the Monogram 1/48 B-17, that scale is incredible for such a large model, but it will dwarf anything I can think of. And I thought the 1/72 Lancaaster was as heavy as heavy metal would get! GUESS NOT!
Steel re-enforced shelves for sure!
