Default Iberia Boeing 747-156B, airplast-milano, 1/100

Hello All,

Just want to share with you my third (although it started as first) and last restoration. This one is an Iberia Boeing 747-200 model made by Airplast-Milano.

Aircraft came with missing number one and decals were impossible to restore. Same situation to get a spare engine so I made a resin copy of engine number 4 including the fan.

Restored and customized. Re-registered from EC-BQR to EC-BRO. Applied delivery colors and reconfigured to a -156B non standard engines.

Aircraft stand (tripod) is 100% hand-made from easy to find parts.

Today (22.10.2015) makes 45 years from EC-BRO's first landing at MAD airport.

Long live the classics!

Thanks, best and enjoy/Manuel

Manuel. That model is a work of art! Very impressive indeed. The window blinds are a great addition. Well done

Neil.

Beautiful work indeed! I wish I had your knowledge... I have a 1/50 Lufthansa Boeing 727-200 made by "Skyland Models" in need of exactly the decal-treatment you gave your Iberia 747...

Beautiful model, and always wonderful to see another model rescued from damage!

In general how did you go about making the extra engine from resin? I'd love to know in hopes of giving it a try on one of my damaged models.
