My father in law has planned an extensive trip to visit Iceland in late September.
Coincidentally last week, my father in law and I had lunch together with one of his old friends and co-worker from Boeing/McDonnell Douglas/NASA and one of his sons.
While enjoying a nice lunch and conversation, the son tells my father in-law that he was very happy that he's going to visit Iceland and that he himself works for Icelandair.
He then takes a box out of his backpack and gives it to me. The box contained a PacMin 1/200 Scale Boeing 757-200 Model Airplane, at the table while we were all having lunch.
I was stunned, to say the least!
He's also going to send me a Pacmin Icendair Boeing 757-200 Model Airplane in their New Hekla-Aurora Livery, like the one in the attached picture, in a couple of weeks.
Never thought that having lunch with one of my father in law's aviation friends, would ever lead to me receiving multiple PacMin model airplanes.
Writing a thank you letter as we speak, to the man's son.
Regards to all.
