where did you get that picture from AcPilot? I searched the common HM site and wasn't able to see it.

You can find the picture on flyingmule's website under catalog additions. I guess hobbymastercollector.com will update soon.

Let's just hope HM won't add flare dispensers on this one.

Flying Eagles eh? As my callsign is Eagle Driver, could be a reason to get it

Joking aside. These naval retro liveries are an interesting scheme. Quite tempted I must say.

We still don't know what you're talking about. Judging by the replies from Stavros and lanslide over at the Pub, they don't know what you're talking about either.

It would appear to be a late annoucement. It hasn't appeared on Hobbymaster collector website yet.

Perhaps I should get this one to go with it

This just arrived the other day. I was a bit skeptical about the colors before I ordered this, but this plane looks great. My camera does it no justice, so I hope some other members post their pics.

I normally don't like the looks of the Hornets without a loadout, but it is not an issue with this release... it looks great with the other bugs and complements them well.

All,

I designed this scheme (and most of the other Centennial schemes) for Naval Aviation's 100th Anniversary. The colors I specified for the aircraft were sea blue, intermediate blue and insignia white. William Liu was aware of this and I had a chance to check his drawings before the model went into production.

Well done to you Rich, these Centennial schemes look amazing. I also liked the day-glo testing colours on one of the VX-31 Hornets, and the old training colours on the T-45.

I actually got a flight in the Centennial Training Wing Two T-45C in August. That was nice. Not sure what will happen to all these schemes, but I had no budget to do them, or undo them for that matter.

There are now 8 different Centennial aircraft in die-cast. Three P-3s and five F/A-18 variants

Yes, thank you for the wonderful artwork. I really love these schemes and the way they pay tribute to the older liveries. Well done.

I especially liked the pictures on the internet of the Prowler beside the Growler in similar colors.

I believe the Prowler is now on display at NAS Jacksonville Heritage Park, just outside the main gate. I'll check next month.

With regards to those two aircraft, the squadron deviated from the colors I specified, but they still look good.
