Nice Growler. That seems to be a very polular release. I like the colors.

It's nice to see your hobby room getting some attention. I like the airliner seat. Please open your trays, and put you seat in the reclined position... The Final Countdown is about to begin.

I hope you acquired that seat through the proper channels.

you really seem to be wondering how the nice and a real airplane seat got into my house, dont you ?... ... well...years ago, KLM decided to discard a lot of business class seats of its B737 fleet and replaced it with normal economy seats which was more profitable, hence most business seats were removed and sold to employees for a symbolic and friendly price. Just have to be very lucky to have such a chance to own one......

As for me, I started to build model kit since I was a kid and getting boring around 5-6 years ago in build one, maybe due to lack of my time. I change the interest sometimes to my other hobby, but cannot really disconnect to aircraft model especially when there is a new kit release, well I had almost al of new kit release in 1:32 from Tamiya, Trumpeter and around 40 unassembled kit (don’t know exactly how many I just lost count), I just love to buy and watch the box and dreaming to build it.

A year ago I had a present from my friend a Dragon A-318 1:400 as my first die cast aircraft ever, before that I do collect some 1:18 die cast car. I thought before, none of military die cast aircraft can beat the detail quality of model kit, until accidently I saw the in youtube about F-22 HM review when I search for a review of die cast commercial aircraft. Well in sort, I just really love the F-22 HM ones it was in my hand, the feel from its weight, detail, painting job, the robustnest and I have to do nothing, just take it out of box and enjoy it. From that time I just start to love military die cast aircraft. And yes I agree with you, for me the price is quite high Thanks for sharing Mar_ji

Nice pics mar_ji - really like Terrible Tyke, so much so I recently bought it and Chico the Gunfighter from a seller on Ebay for a good deal less than the usual retail price. If only HobbyMaster would give us an F-5 in Vietnam colours. Sadly I sold my Robin Olds F-4 last Christmas, slightly regretting that now, but like you I do have HM's F-4 Arkansas Traveller. To finish off my Phantom's from the vietnam era I want to get HM's F4J USS Saratoga Tomcatters.
Now have nearly 80 models in my collection. I must get some pics online soon.

Nice additions Mar_ji. The Luka AFB F-5 is a great release. The mold is very tight. A lot of detail for such a small jet. The SEA camo has answered many requests. Mine is still on a ship somewhere I guess, with the F-4G, BA F/A-18, and a couple others. I can't wait for the MiG-18 to be released.

Terrible Tyke is a great F-4. I was on the fence about it, but picked it up last month and couldn't be happier. The black belly makes this stand out from the other F-4s.

I'll pass on the PR ANG F-104 since I already have P***y Cat. It's nice to see one with the refueling probe. If they release one with that and a bare metal finish, I'll be all over it.

I actually think that the HM F-5 is their best model to date. Like Scott says, very tight mold and lots of detail.

I am still hoping for a nice F-104S of the Italian Air Force, that one is sorely missing in the HM collection.

speaking of tightly done models....F-105,F-111, F-102 and F-106 to name a few are really very neatly done models to date...still waiting for the F-102 Pennsylvania to appear and also the the twin seater f-104 PR which will be my first with camo.....got to be picky nowadays....

Yup wonder why HM didn't make a camo version. AFAIK this is the only one they ever made

That C-17 sure makes me want to deviate into other scales. I've been watching the Herpa B-2, Gemini C-17s, and IF200 P3s amongst others lately. I'll add them to the shopping cart, then close the browser at the last minute... repeatedly. It may be a losing battle.

I see you've taken my idea, and started collecting dust bunnies as well...

I think I'll invest in something like this:

Miniature Vacuum Kit

Anyone know of a better product?

I think so too. I compared the Hogan to the IF200 and there was no comparison, the Hogan won. I also have "Pro's Nest".

I can't find any 1/200 Hogan P-3s except the Japanese liveries. I thought they would release more due to the popularity, but I guess diecast manufacturers are reluctant to make popular releases.

finally got hold of the KLM connie after almost a year of waiting and proud as a kid to have it....hogan did really a marvelous model and with its beautiful polished acrylic stand with a buautiful vintage logo on it....at the same time got also the last of the century aircraft from HM that looks flawless in my opinion....it really burned my pocket getting both at the same time considering the economic crisis.....

Those are 2 great additions. Love that F-101 livery, and now I'm going to have to check out the Hogan connies. The HM one I just got is very nice as well, but not as interesting as yours.

Nice additions.

I like the Falcon F-86D, but hate that rocket pod... I'd have to tear it off. I was hoping they'd release one without it, but I'm still waiting. Great livery, and it looks nice with the F-5.

I've got a BA IF200 747 on pre-order, so I think one will be enough. I really prefer the military liveries, but Like to have such iconic aircraft represented. That KLM looks sweet, but I don't really care for the stand. I'd do like the Rolling Stones and paint it black. Do you have a shelf set aside for your civvies, or do they just have to find a spot?

mmmm, Grim Reapers F-14 and A-7 Korat.... too sweet. You're a fortunate guy.

Thanks for the pics Mar_ji. It looks like it dried up a bit and you had some better weather. Those are some fine birds, and a good variety.

That Apache paint job is hideous.

The F-35 is too clean... it looks like a mockup, (or an Iranian version ).

I have myself a couple of Super Hornets in my collection....the Growler is almost the same as the super hornet in appearance but the difference is the payload on its wings with its 3 generators, Its actually a successor to the EA-6 Prowler....loaded with electronics and other jamming deviices.....its surely worth having at least one on anyones collection of modern military aircraft......
