Question Need help to choose a model

Hello guys! I'm totally new to that hobby and in the process of getting some models of my favorite jets. First few in my list are F-15, F-16 and F-18. Doing some research I found that not too many companies make them in 1:72 scale: Witty, Dragon and Air Command. Which one of those companies make the best? I'm not talking about correctness of model, but more how well it was made. I already have A-7, F-8 and F-14 from Century Wings and A-10 from Hobby Master and I like a lot their quality. Now I need your help to choose models above!!!

Welcome to the Hobby and the forum! Dragon Wings usually has some really good moulds. (granted that is commercial airliners in 1:400 scale) but I am sure that they have pretty impressive 1:72 moulds too!

Best in 1/72: Hobby Master and Century Wings. For British aircraft, Corgi does a pretty decent job. Witty Wings and IXO are also very good. Forces of Valor are ok, as are Dragon Wings. All of these companies provide decent diecast models. I have the Witty F-16, F-15 and F-14, and they're good-looking models...though the F-16 is generic, it has features from different Blocks mixed up in the model.

For the F-15, the best is Witty. But it's always gear down, you could wait until Gemini Aces come out with theirs. It is a Witty retooling, but with extra features so it should have a gear up/down option

For the F-16, the best right now is Dragon Wings but its very hard to come up

And for the F-18, depending on what variant, but the general opinion is also Dragon Wings.

But I will note that if you already bought Century Wings and Hobby Master....these other companies fall short in their quality. Maybe it's best to wait until either CW or HM make the F-15, F-16, F-18 (it could be a while though)

Gemini Aces have recently released an F-16 and F-15, which are pretty much derived from the Witty mould. So far they have released the Thunderbirds F-16. Hopefully they will release more... I hope for an F-16 from the 147TFW based in Houston. If Gemini becomes a flop, then perhaps it may be worth the wait until Hobby Master releases one. Wishful thinking tells me that they will eventually crate the F-16 and F-18. Hobby master is on a roll! Until then, Dragon Warbirds have some Hornets and Super Hornets available.

Naw, I was a Russian linguist student at the Defense Language Institute for a short time back in '79. Gospodin was what my instructor called us when she spoke to us directly. I remember big chunks of my lessons even today, so you know it was an intense training course.
