Well, that's an incredible model. I can't wait to get mine.

One more reason to get really interested in 1:72 now.

Looks great hawkonevoodoo. I've got the 1/48 scale Franklin Mint of that version and love it.

Default Hooray for the "Warthog"

It would be great to see early camouflage schemes done, especially the cold war era.Plus the two tone brown version with warthog's mouth painted on the nose.Good to see such a fine choice of aircraft being made!

Hawk, I got the F-104 and I love it for what it cost me, but honestly, I think they need to start pulling the leash on emplyees in the assembly lines. Paint smudges and warped missiles are showing up.
I still like my ***** Cat, but would like it even more if it had straight missiles and not the bananas its displaying (ok, it is not THAT bad but you get the picture)

I just replaced pre-production photos for HA2501 F-105D with photos of the final retail version. For your information this model is completely sold out at the manufacturers and some allotments had to be reduced so every distributor could receive a fair share. If you are interested in obtaining an HA2501 and haven’t pre-ordered you might be out of luck.

Hobby Master has said that the first three releases of their F-105 series has sold so well that these models are extremely hard to obtain so they are announcing the release of the fourth F-105. HA2504 Republic F-105D Thunderchief, Old Crow II (Bud Anderson) 355th TFW, RTAB (Royal Thai Air Base) Takhli, Thailand. The model should be shipped from Hong Kong around the end of October.

There is an update to the release date for HA2504. It will ship from Hong Kong at the end of September and will be in the US early in October. It probably won't make it to the UK until late October early November.

Why can't these companies, release types of aircraft that haven't been done before. I know there are alot of people that want to get all versions, or diff versions of the same jet, but come on. Let's get some wider variety.

Thanks for the updates. Enjoy your site very much.

I am looking forward to the "pre-camouflage" aluminum finish F-105D which I have pre-ordered.

The new F9F-5 Panther looks nice, but I think that it is time for another mold like the Cougar or something else. I have a couple of the Panthers already, but I think that in the 1/48 scale especially that I don't need any more versions.

Hopefully HM will be expanding beyond the F-100 and F-105 in their older USAF jet lines. (I have to admit that I have 3 of the Super Sabres and 1 on pre-order (Thunderbirds F-100D). I have also pre-ordered both of the so far planned SkyMax F-84E Thunderjets which will be nice 1/72 vintage jet additions.

Hope we eventually see the rest of the Century Series and hopefully someday F-80, F-84F, F-86D/K/L, F-89 and F-94 variants.

Unfortunately not at this time that I'm aware of, perhaps in the future but that is only my personal opinion.

Cool. I just updated my website too. We should be 'website updater' friends.

I also think it is freakin' awesome that a 4 year old thread is kept alive.

Is the new RAAF F-111 going to be a regular general release or is this exclusive to retailers in Australia?

As far as I know it will be a general release but I will confirm this with Hong Kong tonight and get back here with the answer.

At this time it looks like it probably will be a general release. There still are a lot of things that have to be determined before a final decision is made. There should be something definite in the next month or so. Check my website news page for updates. As soon as I hear anything definite I will post it there.
