Default I fell in to a large collection.. What do I have?

Greetings,

First post.. A very newbie question. I ran an ad for military item.. German daggers, swords, US Helmets.. but I got this..HA

What do I have here? Some are Corgi.. others are not marked in any way.

Some have great detail and weight.. others not so much.

What "telltale" signs should I look for on these?

this is about half of them.

Thanks for any help.. Chris

I'd say you have quite a mix of model types there. There are models by Hobby Master, Corgi, Falcon, Model Power/Postage Stamp, Elite Force and others. I'm assuming you have no boxes for these?

Honestly, they look in rough shape. A good cleaning would help a lot and some, like the P-38 with the broken propellor and missing horizontal stab, need some repairs.

Having no boxes really diminishes the value of these even in good condition. The Hobby Master models (F-100, F-101, Stearman, et al) and the 3 large 1:18 scale plastic models may have the most value. The others I see, not so much.
Not sure what your intentions are for these.

Fellow members please feel free to chime in.

I can certainly see how somebody unfamiliar with the hobby might believe that to be a "large" collection we are so pathetic

My wife considers it a large collection and jumped on me to get it off her kitchen table! I had to move fast or no dinner! HA

Fusion monkey pointed out "The Hobby Master models (F-100, F-101, Stearman, et al" have the most value.. Which one are "hobby master"?

I did see that the MiG/Stuka and F86 1/18 do pretty well on ebay.

400ish for all three?

Intentions...?.. Not 100% but Im thinking they will find new homes.

My issue is (as pointed out) I have no boxes and the props and landing gear are very delicate.. How to mail them without the props breaking off.

I did see the big CORGI C-47 "Camel Caravan to Berlin".. Of all the metal planes it is the largest and heaviest.

Happy thanksgiving to all.

If you have some ideas or questions shoot me a PM.

thanks Chris

The F-102 is HA3101, the F-100 is HA2105 and the 3rd jet is the F-105 Thunderchief HA2509. It also appears all the bi-planes are HobbyMaster. If that P-36 Hawk Black 86 is the Carousel 1 model, it has some value when cleaned up even without the box. I might be able to tell you in a couple of days what you might have in total there if sold as a whole collection.
