Default Wishes for Calwings (Russian Stars)

Now it looks like CalWings is getting back on track, and further models look promising, what other Russian aircraft would you like them to produce? Even though i`m still lamenting the news that their Su-22 is dead I`m hoping they`ll make many more Russian aircraft in the future. (Mig-31 i hope makes it to production).

I`m going to start with more Su-24`s in these guises:- Syrian/Iraqi/Libyan and another Russian, Syrian based Su-24M. As for a new tool, i`m going to go with the Su-15 Flagon in all variations, and in Soviet/Ukraine markings.

Concur Su-15, top of the Soviet list, and frankly, well ahead of the MiG-31.

I’ll leave out the Fitter because perhaps that may yet eventuate.

MiG-21F-13 next please, small, lots of schemes and a looker.
Su-9, I just like it.

I would have said Tu-22 Blinder, but then I looked up its length - around 136 feet, so that’s just waaay too much model.

Not that bothered though. If the new Calibre is anything like the old we’re talking 2025; and I’ll be long out of it by then - realistically.

Totally with you there regarding Mig-21F-13. I really can`t believe someone hasn`t done the `in-famous` Su-15 Flagon yet. Lot`s of variations which only really require different wing shapes, radome shapes and minor fin differences. Could easily be done by manufacturers at low cost.

Su-9, although you would think there isn`t any real variations. All you`d need to do realistically is change the fuselage, and armament, and you`d pretty much get an Su-11 too.

Yeah. Blinder is a bit big in 1/72! The largest i`ll go is a Tu-128 `Fiddler` in this scale.
