That`s a very nice Welly Steve. Corgi do a great job on these. I must admit i wouldn`t mind one to go along with the heavies i have. Though i think that would start me off on another collecting tangent!!

Hi Carlo4 I don't normally collect military models, but I will just purchase one each of the various Corgi bombers they make, as I do like them a lot and that is it

Yeah, having only a Doolittle B-25 I started out planning only on adding a B-17 which I have on pre-order. Then I decided to hunt for a B-24. Then I added a B-29 (1/144). Then I thought, give a nod to the Brits and add the unique Lancaster which I also have on pre-order. Now I'm considering adding a B-52. And then I hope that's it as far as prolific bombers go. I also like to limit myself to one livery of each and every plane that I have—keeps the tangents at bay!

I must say, I would add a Horsa glider (if anybody made one) and a Halifax to pull it! But I don’t think anybody makes a Horsa (hello, Corgi!), unless you buy a kit.

BTW, very nice model, Steve!

my MACROBERTS REPLY has turned up. but front aerial has broken off. got it in an auction lot, so can't return it. but got it a helluva lot cheaper than ebay. so emailed corgi to see if they have any spares.

Love the Stirling! I think you should be able to get one. It`s still in production so you shouldn`t have a problem. I`ve had numerous spares from Corgi. Never had an issue. They just take a while to pop through the letterbox in my experience.

Don't forget to ask them for as set of corrected MLG- McRobert's is one of the early releases with the MLG legs too short.

I have the original 9 Sqn one WS-B, as it was similar to the ones my Gran helped build early in the war. Corgi have done a fantastic job on this mould, absolutely blown away by the geodetic frame detail they included on the model.
