Doug Comes Out
OK, Guys, here's the skinny. If you grew up during WWII, and your dad was off fighting in Europe, you never forgot it. When my dad returned from the war to re assume a patriarchal place in the family, I developed an interest of the hardware of war - the aircraft. Of special interest to me was the navy and marine fighters in the Pacific theater. I used to build models, but not well, and with time, detailed assembled models became more prevalent, and cheaper. too. I retired from the U.S. Army reserves in 1996, and along the way, I drifted over to the airborne, and special forces - the penultimate development of good soldiering. So, I came to know the Huey, the Chinook, the Hercules, the Starlifter and the Galaxy, and left my childhood interest in military aircraft behind. But here we are, with great finished models in both full detail and bargain prices, too, and I reminisce. Please find two Easy Model Pacific fighters, that to a casual observer seem quite good. Just dipping into your world, and it's a great time to be a collector, awaiting a break in the viral scourge. Over, Doug
