New CORGI CAT. out now. Defo getting this one to go with my 2 CODE 3 FGR 2 Phantoms.

Although glad to see this as a huge phantom fan, I just got 2 MODELWORKS CODE 3 PHANTOMS 41 + 56 SQDNS which were converted to FGR 2s. even had cockpit instrument decals added. and a camera + recce pod. and balance weights on one.

My understanding are that Corgi 1/48 phantoms are built to the british-engine fuselage shape, and thus are incompatible with US phantoms. Was the same case for Gemini's 1/72 phantoms, hence that was their niche. Surprised nobody has picked up those moulds as there are a few more british ones to do in 1/72.

You can get the phantoms you are after from franklin mint. they're "ok".
