I think it needs to be slightly darker, but I can live with it. It is just FoV after all.

Good luck. I have been trying to ask them questions for a year now about their long gone V-22 and this model. They never respond, and if they do respond it is usually only in yes or no answers. Terrible customer service.

I asked them about this model to determine when it would be available for pre-order, and they replied by telling me it would have a mini-gun in the door... I was like, thanks I guess...

Go to the ModelHangar3 website.

There is a member there in regular contact with FoV.

A bit harsh & somewhat unfair comment considering all the hard work they put into upgrading the mould to above even Corgi's standards at a much lower price. Plus similar work they're doing on many other moulds such as their armour range.

Have to agree with Will on this. Watersons now the owner of the FoV line has done a ton of work upgrading toolings in all their ranges. I have one of their 88mm Guns and it’s amazing. The Chooks are equally impressive (I already have two with another 3 coming to my hanger. Superbly made and detailed. Not sure the colours are a problem,.....it is matt black after all.

Not as much metal as Corgi’s Chooks but better finished and detailed.

Not fair comment because you’re not comparing like for like. I appreciate the work, and the results. However Corgi is diecast and really, this isn’t. That matters to some collectors, it doesn’t to others. Who am I to to say if it’s important or not. However you don’t model the same level of detail in the two mediums, and they don’t cost the same either.

Just sayin’.

It may take a few releases of different toolings for the new FoV owners to wash away the stigma from the old FoV name. Best they don’t release the A6M2 too early then.

Back to this. Kind of pretty, but. I don’t know what it is, it’s not a MH-47G. It’s not a 47E either. I’m trying not to use the T word, but those buckling back wheels aren’t helping. On balance I don’t think it’s for me.

It would have to be a complete new mould rather than a reworking of existing moulds like FoV are doing. But if the do decide to do some new moulds, a Herc gunship would be ace.

I got this one today. It looks good next to my UH-60's. Using the term diecast is a bit of a stretch. I would say it's 90% plastic but it does look good.

Model of the year in my view. Awesome bit of kit. Try and count the number of antenna and other bits of kit in the model?

Terrific model. A future classic!
