So the F/A-18F Advanced Super Hornet is basically an EA-18G, if I read the description correctly. It is not armed with a cannon. I like the low-viz paint. I am looking forward to seeing production photos.

There's just nothing to rope me in on the list.

Don't mean to be a killjoy, but I don't see how HM can go on like this.

Much of what's shown will sit on vendor shelves for a LONG time.

On the other hand, I've got my eye on several Corgi and CalW releases.

When 2020 is over, I'll probably have purchased 8-10 diecast models.

That handful of purchases will join a collection of 500+, the plurality being Hobby Master.

Out of curiosity. What is your prescription for how hm should be going... what iyo should they be releasing or doing?

No "killjoy", we all have different interests and tastes. The Spitfires are nice and I like the EA-6B, but there is nothing I have to have. The F-35 in beast mode is interesting, but I just can't decide if I like that plane or not. It's such a compromise on so many different capabilities. I guess time will tell on how effective it is in the real world.

You bet! I like the 'obscure' releases, Cuba, Peru, NK, Mongolia, etc etc. Maybe we will see all produced one day! 1/72 example in plastic. Hoping it turns out this way.

Glad to see more low-viz F-4Es. Insofar as the Block III Super Hornet goes, the changes are mostly on the avionics. Nuthin wrong with modeling that one. Now, where’s our F-15X?

Sigh all you want mate. Art or not, if you have an interest in those models (I don’t), you’d be well advised to check with HM. I mean they’ve never dropped the ball have they? That art is taken from the drawings that will form part of the work order for the factory. Sigh.

It's also worth noting that the conceptual artwork has actually proven to be more accurate than the final product on a number of occasions.

i havent looked .. .but ... surely this must be available somewhere. it wasn't that long ago and it couldn't have been that popular.

i thought so too; you can still find the last one but the prices are a bit too high, it was produced in low quantities or it's more popular then we think.
