Default Custom Tempered Glass Display Box

A few years back, I bought an Ikea glass front display case that I mounted horizontally for my model trains. I didn't need the glass shelves and used them as sides for my display box. I bought 12" x 12" tempered glass squares for the top. I used a Dap super glue that is sticky and slightly flexible for the joints. After lots of cleanup I glued on Basswood corner trim to reinforce the joints. I like making and collecting miniatures, but I also have cats. The two don't always mix well, especially since one likes to chew. Now I can enjoy my HM Delores without worrying about it.

Glad I could contribute. Excellent recommendation by the way. Once I read the aircraft history, I had to have it.

Dude do yourself a favor and read Black Aces High by Robert Wilcox. I read that book when I was in college and I've been a lifelong fan of the Black Aces ever since

Thanks, it's a 1/72 scale, though some of my WWII 1/48 fighters should fit. I wish I could get more of the glass side pieces to make more.
