Default Four New Royal Navy Arrivals

Had four new Royal Navy fighter jets arrive this morning, each of witch served on different Aircraft Carriers, the first one made by Aviation 72 Hawker Sea Hawk FGA 6 WV908 Ace of Diamonds squadron operated from HMS EAGLE, again made by Aviation 72 is a Fairey Gannet XA420/333 operated from HMS ALBION 824 NAS 1957, the third one is a Blackburn Buccaneer S.Mk.2 XN981 No.801 squadron operated from HMS VICTORIOUS 1965, made by Corgi, witch happen to be the last ship my DAD served on, and the final one is another one made by Aviation 72 is a De Havilland Sea Vixen FAW 2 XP924/G-CVIX. witch operated of HMS EAGLE.

Great models, and well done on Aviation 72's part. Of the four, I like the Seahawk the most. Great pics as always Steve, that light gray backdrop and spot on side shots are your trademark. I've enjoyed them for many years now, thanks for sharing with us!

Excellent collection Steve. I have that Buccaneer model, as I did the research for Corgi on that one. We also made a nice 809 Squadron all-grey Buccaneer.

The missing B.707s still needed to be done in 1/400: Uganda Airlines, Air Zimbabwe (rainbow scheme), Air Niugini.

DC-8s still needed to be done in 1/400: UAT, Iberia ('80s scheme), Air Ceylon, Surinam Airways, Air Spain, Seaboard World (-63CF)

Aeroclassics Comets still missing- Dan Air (4 & 4C), United Arab Airlines/Misrair/Egyptair, Kuwait AW, Sudan AW, East African AW, Saudi Royal Flt.

Well I appreciate your work Adrian since it’s the only Buccaneer I have. I’d really like an S1 but doubt we’ll ever see it.

I passed up on that particular AV72 Sea Hawk since there’s bleed through on the ace of diamonds card. The ex-Witty toolings aren’t great but I doubt we’ll see replacements.

Great models of the 60s, I remember that I made a Sea Hawk and a Fairey Gannet loooong time ago, Airfix and I don't remember for the Gannet (Hawk ?)

Another arrival today is this Royal Navy Phantom FG.1 XT872 No 892 Sqn witch operated of HMS ARK ROYAL in the Silver Jubilee livery 1977

Ah, the Gemini RN F-4s. I have all of them. I did have to correct the ejection seats though. The pitot heads on the fins are a nightmare.

Hi Umpire the actual model is made by Gemini Aces No/ GARN4001, I believe
there is three other versions of this aircraft made by other companies Corgi being one.

Another one to join the Sqn is this Sea Harrier FRS.1 XZ450 made by CORGI this particular aircraft was loaned to the Royal Navy and served during the Falklands War of the Aircraft Carrier Invincible with 800 Sqn.
