Default Sundowners VF-111 Tomcat repeats

So, recently I bought from Japan a reasonably (8.5/10) well-made 1/72 tomcat plastic model:

This is a slighly obscure sundowners (VF-111) livery with the "sun" in the corner of the tail as opposed to in the middle.

This joins my large collection of diecast Tomcats.

However, let's look at the latest few major diecast releases and announcements of VF-111 birds:

Calibre Wings (limited china release):

Hobby master miss molly (AGAIN!)

Hobbymaster

Hobbymaster miss molly

century wings

plus, jc wings did the same livery in 1/144 and the last witty was also 200 in the same livery. as was the dragon vf-111.

so that's like 7 or 8 releases or so, all of which were of basically exactly the same one or two aircraft.

to get any different sundowners, you basically have to go back to the old witty low res release. and i hate witty tomcats, so im not touching that.

i dont know whether hm is re-releasing miss molly just to "mess" with calibre wings. that seems to be their thing. but in this case im not sure that's the case since the additional barely different miss molly was i think announced before the calibre limited edition.

but ffs - there are so many different vf-111 birds to do.

here's to hoping that we at some point get a different diecast VF-111 bird

Just checked the flying mule and it turns out, cal w may have listened to us consumers for once and decided to ship a few to the US https://www.flyingmule.com/products/CL-CA721414-W

Interestingly, there's no mention on the site of this being a china exclusive made for one particular retailer. At 1000 units, it would be hard for the chinese retailer to move all of those, especially given the premium price and the fact that HM is about to release yet another miss molly as well (this one, inexplicably, with phoenix missiles, iirc)

don't get me wrong - i think miss molly is a great livery. I just think that, as somebody else said, a low-viz VF-111 bird, ideally in calw's new dirtier and/or "normal" finish (they really need to clarify and standardize their terminology here) would be more welcome.
