[QUOTE=wilkinss77;2758272]Indeed so- some are even actively involved in cooperating in the actual development of some of HM's models. Neil Pearson for example helped out with the Typhoon.[/QUOTE

Cool guys!! Thanks! 👍

HM has change its mind / has "found solutions" before based on customer pressure and I suspect they can here too.
Fingers crossed! I await that day eagerly!! I've been pushing for HM to produce Dassault for a long time now. I even personally emailed William about this sometime back!! So yes,I reckon the constant 'pressure' will amount to some positive result eventually! Hopefully!

I could add a types wish list but I won’t. Like many long time collectors I’m running out of display space, so . . .

Instead of lots of crap. What I’d like is a change of direction from HM away from their deeper slide into mediocrity. More comprehensive and better tooling design (maybe even with shallower panel lines). Some actual research and QC. Accurate paint colours, subtle NMF shading and more stencils on models that aren’t of JASDF subjects.

You know, good models like they started out trying to do.

Can't see the point of a 1/72 P-38, and let's be honest, it looks like HM have pretty much said goodbye to new 1/72 WWII toolings. However, I believe HM are working on a 1/48 P-38. Trouble is, who knows what effect the Wuhan virus will have on plans. And anyway, if you know HM, you know they'll stuff up something.

I would like a California ANG F-16 from the 144th Fighter Squadron. I was incredibly lucky enough to scoop up the Witty Wings version years ago. I like it, even though it's not the most detailed. The more recently assigned F-15s would also be cool to have.

Seems to be a lack of Helo`s. So i`m going to say more of these bad boys please. Most famous Russian helo and only a couple of basic die-cast ones.

Wishes for hobby master-dscn2836.jpg

And now HM are doing 1/48 A6m2`s. I`d like some A6M5`s, Ki-84`s and Shiden-Kai to go alongside my Marushin`s. Though where i`m going to put them is anyone`s guess.

I wish Hobby Master will come out with Russian Knight Su-27. I got one from witty but the shape of Canopy and cockpit is not accurate. The HM is by far more accurate . I also wish HM will come out with the new Blue Angels Super Hornet.

My wish is for everybody to get what they want. My second wish is for nobody to get what they want, especially not helos. Because, while the HM helos are fine, basically the enthusiasm melts away for these like instantly and most helos can be found in good enough quality anyway from other sources. But, HM should do a hind and the tilt-rotor osprey, since those are exceptions .

I think in 1/72:

HM will make an osprey. its too obvious not to.
HM will make a su-27ub (which i thoroughly approve of. all the other identisukhois can DIAF though)
HM will re-release the thunderbirds and/or blue angels phantom
HM will release at least one VF-74 Phantom
HM may announce the "solo turk" f-16
HM will announce a Deutsches Marine Tornado
HM will re-run the blue camo JASDF kai phantom. not the RF, just the kai.
IF they do a delta dart, it will be a 27th FIS with the yellow checkered tail with yellow arrowhead or a NASA one.
IF they do a delta dagger, it will be a hawaii ANG one.
HM might do the red-white and blue texas 182FS 65th anniversary falcon scheme

these are conservative predictions, i know. But such are the times.

The one non-conservative prediction which I REALLY REALLY hope will come true:
- UkrAF Mig29s. Any are fine, but the grey/white digital one is likely.

What I'd actually like HM to do ... (realistically doable version - not that these will happen, but just what I'd like) ... this is the 1/72 version

- Green pixel camo JASDF Phantom
- Dirty Diana RNLAF F-16.
- All orange USN drone phantom
- Any experimental or short term green scheme vigilante
- For the love of god give us some non yellow/silver USAF/USAFE sabres!
- camo F-102 with the yellow/black stripes on it like from the Meng case XX kit. I already have this as a code 3 (did it myself using the meng decals), but this should sell well if they do another F-102. They've re-run a camo voodoo, so it is not impossible.
- revive the skymax mould and finally do the 4 queens f84. cant understand how they missed that one.
- use the century moulds to do some of the crusaders that I already have code 3s of
- 30th anniversary JADSF phantom with the sunburst on the side would be awesome.
- they take the person who has chosen their JASDF F-15 liveries so far and send them to sea on an ice floe.
- there's an outside chance we will see a gripen. There's just enough users now, albeit 'secondary diecast market ones' to kind of make it possible.

What i'd like them to do - mould changes that probably won't happen but a girl can dream:

- 2 seat A-4 skyhawk.
- Fillet-less P-51D (ok that's a 1/48 request)
- F-16 CCV. I think this shouldn't be that hard, right? they did it for the T-2...
- Corsair -5 (cheek inlets, etc). (again this is 1/48)

The less realistic 1/72 wish list:
- McDonnell Demon. This will outsell the vigi, easily. Would look amazing in 1/72. Unfortunately, no good enough kit for them to copy, probably.
- 1/72 FJ 2/3 fury
- F4D skyray in either 72 or 48 based on the easily obtainable kits. would sell really well.
- Calibre does the B58, hobbymaster does an A3 skywarrior (whale)
- 1/72 B-29/B-50

and of course my perennial request:
- Skyknight in any scale

Speaking of the A-4 Skyhawk, does HM ever do rereleases? Because I missed out on the Miramar A-4F when I was scooping up all these jets for my Top Gun collection late last year and had to settle for the Corgi version, which is technically inaccurate since its the 1992 variant of the aircraft and has a jungle camo scheme instead of desert camo. Plus Corgi's models tend to look like low hanging fruit when compared to the likes of HM and CalW.

Inaccurate, yes, but a great scheme. I love that little corgi blue guy.

I know what you mean. Corgi's A4s are clearly in many ways inferior to HMs. But on the other hand they have this sort of inherent quality about them.

I suspect that if HM reruns some skyhawks, it may include some Lady Jessies, though this will be a case where they'll have a hard time pretending its a different aircraft by choosing some small variant.

But anyway, it is not inconceivable that we'll see this from HM:

I`d like more Sabre Dog`s in 1/72 scale. Some very nice scheme`s that Falcon Models didn`t get round to doing before going out of business. This particular scheme is one of my favourites.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not unhappy that I had to get the Corgi A-4, because it still technically fits within the framework of the movie. Maybe not 100% but at least 80%. My inital goal was to basically buy enough aircraft to match all of the planes that were present in the various air to air scenes throughout the movie. I ended up buying 11 planes total. 4 tomcats from CalW, the two A-4's from Corgi, and 5 of the MiG-28 (S) from Hobby Master. But two of the Lt. Michell A-4's would have been icing on the cake.

I have just one wish - to Hobby Master NOT making Su-30SM (with canards). As a great Flanker fan I´m not sure if I can handle another screwed HM Flanker - I mean that terrible, ghastly HM habit to sacrifice quality of their models for profit. Of course, I mean that terrible, unsusceptible, ghastly, gruesome, creepy, horrific, miserable horizontal division line that completely destroys the beauty of every and each HM Flanker (.... besides all those many "standard" mistakes).

Don´t get me wrong please, all who love HM Flankers, don't let anything ruin your happiness....

Someone mentioned mediocrity here. Well, here´s an example I´ve just recently found - Atlas 1:100 Mig-29 SMT. Where high and mighty HM offered just a shortcut to collectors for their 110+USD investments, Atlas weren´t lazy to mimic correct MiG-29 pitot tube with vortex generators - even on "low cost" model for literally few bucks. And in 1/100 scale! So this is what we pay and what we get.

Don´t want to steal Tomcat380´s thread any more.

Btw. - sehr gute Strahlflugzeugewahl, KapitänKursor!

Fairly easy for HM to produce them since they already have the tooling for various Flanker models. Just a matter of doing a bit more research on the craft for perfections and obtaining permit from the operators with nominal fees, I think

I think you`re right. It would certainly fit nicely with their IAF Mig-29 (& hopefully SMT in the future), as well as my parade day Sukhoi;

Well guys, here you are:

I congratulate you to your big joy, you will surely celebrate.

But as for me, I´ve seen it just 1 sec. I see the nose division line, I see the front landing gear, I see gaps everywhere .... and decided to stop my post here not to be spoiling your happiness.

I was never closer to stopping collecting.

I dare say, sometimes it pays off to be blissfully ignorant and not so keen on the finer realities of these things.

Talk about a wish come true Probably this is an image of early stage pre-prod. Hopefully if HM is planning to produce the RMAF Su-30 MKM version, they will include the MAWS antennas on.

Well I knew this was coming, and I’m not surprised that they’ve stuck with their “house style”. If they do a scheme that hides the seam I may get one. I’ll wait and see just how bad it all turns out.

On the plus side it looks like they’re on schedule with bringing out a new tooling every couple of months. I’m looking forward to the 1/48 Me-262 and the 1/72 U-2A/C(F/G?). No doubt others are awaiting the Spey Phantom with baited breath. Personally I’d have preferred some of their other stalled projects like the MiG-21F-13 and the Sea Harrier FRS-1/ AV-8A. Or the rumoured helos. Still, HM do what they do.

How ‘bout instead of painting the same ol’ pigs with different lipstick over and over again, HM release a 1/72 F4F Wildcat or two?

That’s the only F104 that I have and the only one that I’d want.

One, or at most two, liveries per aircraft is good enough for me. I’ve come to realize from looking at pics of glass cases crammed with dozens and dozens of aircraft that my eye does not know what to look at and it all becomes a blur or unenjoyable noise without focus or significance in the subject matter. Just my 2 cents.

I'd like to see Super Hornets from squadrons that have never been represented.

I'd also like to see a C-2 Greyhound

And accurate versions of the MH-60R and MH-60S.

The one advertised is an EAV-8B Harrier II Plus, not an AV-8S Matador, which corresponds to the AV-8A version

No an FSR1 was announced. But when William was informed of some of the changes required to enable different MKs of early Harriers he postponed the tooling “until further notice”.
