I used to have the VF-31 cag bird in the F-14D variant from that line. That was a loooong time ago. I don't think paypal was even around yet. I remember I had to fax a shop that sold it all the way in England a check which was super risky back in the day. But that used to be a nice little model. Way better engineering than Witty, Franklin Mint and Dragon Models, but not quite as nice as what we would eventually get from the likes of Hobby Master, Century Wings and FOV

The revell tomcats are ok for their age. The biggest flaw was the overly inward canted vert stabilizers. I tried to fix one and did a half assed job of it, put it aside, and that's the last i ever cared about a revell tomcat

that said, it would be nice if somebody else re-did the somewaht obscure but still cool yellow logo VF-31 bird. the other two releases (JR and... something else common) are obsolete.

If i'm not mistaken, the third and final Tomcat from that line was the VF-101 Grim Reapers "Tomato". But there were other molds too if I'm not mistaken. I distinctly remember the Panavia Gr.1 Tornado in about 2-3 different liveries and the A-6 Intruder was also released as well?
