Btw.:
- larger wings
- 2-seater vertical fin modified to house the rocket engine
- longer pitot tube / nose radome with Reaction Control System nozzles
- extended inlet shock cones
These are only outer modifications from F-104A (... according to Wiki)

Wings, tail with rocket engine, nose, pitot, shock cones extensions. Are these few changes worthy for HM* (or Corgi*?) to be tooled for NF-104?
If so, right now is maybe good time to start with, imho. Would be nice to have diecast NF-104A in collection.
There were three NF-104A built.

* Herpa/JCW omitted intentionally as Witty´s F-104 isn´t the best mold.

Thanks Ladia. It would be great if HM gave this a go, but I'm none too hopeful. For those interested in exactly what happened rather than the Yeager fan boy myth, the late Bob Smith covered it well:

It was a real [email protected] up from which the program never fully recovered.
