At Last! NEW 1/32 F-4K/M SPEY PHANTOM KIT

For you kit guys! as some of you may know HONG KONG MODELS announced a proper SPEY PHANTOM a couple of years ago or so. well it is still, but nowhere NEAR yet. also price rumoured to be 349-399!! Same as their other 1/32 heavy BOMBERS. no one has ever done a proper spey 1/32 phantom yet. but a few have bravely cut up an expensive Tamiya F-4J kit to get one.

well just found out from ALAN WILSON at ICELANDIC FINE ARTS that he is also doing a proper 1/32 F-4K/M SPEY PHANTOM full kit @ around just 195!! completely new model. not a conversion or copy! and the MASTERS for this will be on display at the LONDON PLASTIC MODEL Show this Sunday the 8th. so I will definitely be going.

he is also doing a 1/32 BUCCANEER. 1/72 VC 10. And a 1/48 VULCAN. images of which were posted in the IPMS TELFORD thread. And a possible 1/48 VICTOR.

Below is a few pics an FGR PHANTOM a guy built on LARGE SCALE PLANES converted about 12 years ago from a Tamiya f-4j.

upon hearing the HK MODELS was hugely expensive, I got my guy Alistair to do an F-4J in camo colours. as nearest I was possibly ever going to get. he is now doing an ALCOCK + BROWN. just my luck. but will still be getting 2 or 3 of these!
