HS0004 Hobbymaster 1/72 Jet Aircraft Display stand
As announced on HMC site, HM is introducing new 1/72 Jet Aircraft Display stand:
I like the look of the stand. Also, with its wide base it looks stable. Plus it allows to display models with centerline loadout.
With some bending it probably will be also possible to some extent bank / pitch the model on the stand.
However on the photo the rod end caps (plugs, adapters) stick out too far from the nozzles which looks somehow unfinished to me, well, maybe even ugly. Like nozzles wearing earplugs. Not a clean solution, I´d rather prefer plugs to be shorter, sinked in the nozzles (HM Phantoms have quite deep nozzles) and "cup-like" - hollow from outside.
And last note: the base looks quite large and will probably eat more space in the cabinet than other 1/72 stands - wouldn´t be surprised it turns to be the biggest 1/72 stand in the industry in terms of the base size. So we will see if with this stand those having crowded cabinets will be able to display as many models as with Witty stand:

You can probably DIY by getting solid rubber or neoprene lab stoppers (pictured).....they come in different colors or you can paint to blend with exhaust nozzels...... some stoppers can come already with a single hole.
All you need is wood for base (finished to your liking), solid wire or wire rod ....gauge of your choice, and the best fitting stopper.
Tools
Drill
Drill bits
Glue
Wire bending pliers
Cutting tool (small saw, cutting wheel, etc) for trimming length of stopper if needed

I think it's possible to display a plane directly on the base, just under the plane in flight position...
The pic illustrating the ladia's post come from my cabinet... and witty's stands are great, but they took some space on the ground, so, HM new stuff could be a good alternative...
Let's see
Re: HS0004 Hobbymaster 1/72 Jet Aircraft Display s
Just acquired the Hobby Master display stand, am using to display a Herpa F-16, looks good, I like how the plane can be displayed ib varying flight poses.
Might get another one for my hobby master planes.

We base
Yes it is hollow, there is a small part that swops so you can change the stalks that fit in the engine. So you change single for two stalks for the F-4 4
and F-15
Not sure about jets ie mirrage?
I could tree try I have one.

Nice display stand, although a weighted base might be better.....such as blank solid wood plaque material....you can wood stain or paint the colors you want.... just a thought. I’m not ready to commit yet.
It looks like you have enough room to place a squadron patch on the surface of the base....might find patches on eBay.
