The JC vs HM F15 debate is an interesting one. In fact,...I made the mistake of buying both the JCWings and HM 33TFW F15C and I did a comparison photo shoot of both types on a thread,...in that other place.
The overall preference was the HM version. But the burner cans and extra tampos from the old Witty tooling certainly make it competitive. Also many lads prefer the more subtle panel lines. Most lads did not like Witty's movable surfaces. Also the Witty canopy is pretty bad too. HM's is much better.
Also I have two Gemini releases and they are both superb and the colours on the Oregon ANG F15C is the best there is for that scheme.
Then you have the Dragon ASAT release, which to be a fair is a WHIF as is it seems the 318FIS, which some aircraft were fitted for,...never actually carried the missile or test fired it,...before the program was cancelled. The point being, many lads like the old Dragon tooling too and that particular release,..from the old Dragon tooling can fetch a pretty penny on Ebay.
The F15 situation is pretty subjective based on the actual scheme. Remember the first couple of HM F15s were real stinkers due to the colours.
All the three manufacturers have their plus or minus points. Although, when it comes to the F15E,..I think everyone thinks HM is the better one. But for the Air Superiority Fighter its a debatable proposition, based on subjectivity, the actual scheme and the application of that scheme to the model.
I have all versions,..proudly displayed in my collection.
