JC Wings F-14 Issue
Got my first JCW F-14. Front seater pilot doesn't fit. Anyone have/had a similar problem (and solution?)

Re: JC Wings F-14 Issue
JC wings are doing quality repaints on an outdated and even in its day not great witty mould. If you want a better tomcat, buy a hobbymaster, century wings, or calibre wings.

sorry no solution, but, well, it is a pity that JC wings considerable repainting talents are being wasted on crappy moulds.

Re: JC Wings F-14 Issue
Bummer! Have several Century and a couple Calibre; thought I'd give JC a go, but not impressed. As you say, an excellent paint effort, but not a lot in the QC realm...

Re: JC Wings F-14 Issue
Recently got my rainbow tomcatter from JCW. Same issue with the pilot. Nearest solution is to cut the legs and waist of the pilot and try to squeeze in. Didn’t bother with that as I simply left the canopy open as one of those static airshow scene. :)

If I could give you some more useful advice than "sorry" ;), then:

you can always try to:

- ask "JetstreamPhotography" on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kOEDsbUing

- ask "blacktemplar420" on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFFOnnS1RO4

- ask "kirax105" on twitter: https://twitter.com/NWMSA0011/status...03703449116673

Sending an email to Flyingmule how they are inserting front pilots ....:

..... will probably end up with information they have a special-low-cut-no-legs-midget-display-pilot, but maybe they, or the other mentioned guys will be able to give you useful advice.

Also, I vaguely remember some very old posts here on DAC speaking about using force, hairdryer, needle nose pliers etc. but really donīt remember which model was it about. Sorry ;)
