Default Thank you Century Wings

Just wanted to take a moment to publicly say "Thank you" to century wings for kindly sending me some duplicate parts. Despite their public "shyness", the reality is that Century Wings has over the years brought us some spectacular models (I have over 70) and have always been an invaluable part of the diecast aircraft universe if only by holding a high standard for other companies to aspire to. Somewhere in the shuffle I lost the main landing gear for the 2nd Century Wings model I ever bought (a Corsair II) and they were kind enough to send me a replacement.

Going forward, I hope they are able to make a few more great releases.

Lucky you. I emailed Century Wings because my F-14 armaments are too loose or too tight that won't fit. I didn't get a reply from them.

What did you expect them to do? A little filing and gluing is part of every diecast purchase. Respectfully, I think you had unrealistic expectations. People contacting manufactures because their "armements are too loose or too tight" is a good way to ensure that companies will leave the market because of the 1% of customers that make unreasonable demands.

Lucky you and congratulations.
I understand you are happy but I still somehow didn´t get your point.
You wanted to publicly inform us that CW is now sending spare parts easily upon an email request, or you wanted to publicly just show off your success which is in fact extremely exceptional? Because if the former is true and nothing has changed in CW and CW generally don´t reply to spare parts requests (which collectors may now tend to be sending), I´m not sure how your post will help the collectors then (...nor CW, if it was to be the purpose).

Btw I also hope they are able to make a few more great releases...
