I'll definitely get the GAF Fulcrum. A pity that the Polish one is the 100th Anniversary special paint (I only collect standard c/s), but I'm sure others will like it.
- WW: ah, the famous "War of Vietnam." Probably a buy.
- F-35C Jolly Rogers pole "aircraft" = what a cash grab. But, then again, if people will buy it, why not. And, let's be honest with ourselves - EVERYTHING here is a cash grab. We don't "honor veterans" by buying this stuff. If you like it, buy it.
- Polish MiG-29. I think HM got some bad advice here. Probably somebody told them to make this instead of the ones with the circular insignia on the spine because JC Wings already did the circular insignia ones. However, JC's look like crap but those are the insignia that I think far more people saw at RIAT and elsewhere. So, I'd suggest to HM that they change this to bort 40 with grey circle logo and urbanowicz on the tail. Still, if they stick with this one it wont be terrible.
- I can't imagine why HM is bothering with Pakistan Air Force F-16 except to further (correctly, in this case) humiliate india for their lying press and social media machine claiming a few months ago that they shot down a PAF F-16.
- Aussies continue to get GREAT liveries that Growler will be beautiful.
The F-105G Wild Weasel is a must have for me as well as one of the MiG 29's. A good month indeed!
Glad you got your wish, BB!
The way I see it, this is probably the only chance to have an F-35C with the Jolly Rogers scheme....yes it's a testbed, yes it's a mockup etc...but it's representation is based on 1:1.
Back when suggested, I could not find a delivery schedule that showed VFA-103 getting any F-35C's anytime soon, if ever. But hey if it does ever go to VFA-103 .... William knows it's another JR release with a F-35C VFA-103 operational scheme.......and if it never makes it to VFA-103...at least with this release, a collector will have an F-35C with them bones . The Jolly Rogers logo sells on just about anything..... Arrrr
Btw....it's not the first time a testbed aircraft has been produced in 1/72 diecast.

So, I pre-ordered the F-105G. Fingers crossed that HM will do this one right in something resembling the relatively nicer finishes of their earlier vietnam camouflage aircraft and not the horrible crap that was some of the later ones. I decided to get this one because after some consideration of the various G liveries out there, I decided that this was the one to get - it is the livery from the USAF museum, has the WW tail code, has the 3 'kill' stars, etc. Probably the only similarly popular livery for this will be one with the (boar's) teeth on the front, but I prefer this one without.
Now, what can HM make this aircraft as great as it can be? The usual things:
1. paint. Please please please take the time to make the camo on this one look decent.
2. stencils. less fussed about this, since i figure i'll have to add them myself, but the real Gs had a ton of stencils. Hopefully HM can come close to this.

should be a very nice model if those are done.
All these wishes and suggestions can only work if they are accompanied by sentence like: I have already sent an email about this to William.
I don't understand the allure of the "pole test" scheme. Are they going to make it out of wood?
what's there to understand?
some people like JR because it looks cool. the pole scheme may be as real as a macross JR bird, but people like them because to them, they look cool.
again, we need to be very careful and realistic with what our hobby is and what it is not. while buying these models may make you think about history or technology or active servicepeople or whatever, that is ultimately a secondary effect. we do not in any real way honor history or servicepeople or whatever by buying the models - we honor them by thinking about them. buying the models is an act into of itself that is ultimately a business transaction where you give money to a chinese company for something you like. nothing more, nothing less. and my view is that if somebody likes a pole sitting f35 and that helps the chinese company stay in business to make models that i like, then i'm all for it.

Yes, this release really has love-hate potential. I personally don´t understand this release too, but honestly I don´t understand the whole HM´s F-35 warty thing as well. But I predict it can finally sell well, as all HM F-35s surprisingly do.
I would buy it only upon two "what-if" conditions:
- HM F-35 would be completely without current warty surfaces
- it will sell including (shortened) pole test display stand:
Yeah, for it to be accurate, they’d have to ditch all panel lines and paint the canopy. As it is, I suppose it’s just a fantasy livery. It may as well be a JR Concorde. Haha!

It is true...a Fantasy Livery is accurate....and with that there is a certain amount of artistic license to sell the idea.
It is my understanding that this model will have a standard display stand, landing gear, pilot, and load out as like with other HM F-35 models.
Although HM lists it as a Pole Test ( https://www.hobbymastercollector.com/HA6203.html ) .......the actual description and it purpose for existing is it's true goal and that is Antenna Testing. Below is how The Flying Mule correctly describes it.......notice "Pole Testing" is not worded in it.
So, as mentioned those who like/love the Jolly Rogers will probably buy it regardless whether it's a Fantasy model and you use pole test or antenna test to describe it.
Btw Thursday, September 19 is International Talk Like A Pirate Day .... International Talk Like a Pirate Day is a parodic holiday created in 1995 by John Baur and Mark Summers, of Albany, Oregon, U.S., who proclaimed September 19 each year as the day when everyone in the world should talk like a pirate.
Arrrrrrrrr!!!

Managed to screen capture this before "popups" stopped me from accessing more info. This bird doesn't appear to be in a 2019 lineup as far as 2019 HM posters go... Or did I miss it?

Well this will close out my different JR Airframes theme, Thanks HM
It looks like the insignia blue is abit too light. I've noticed this for the past year now on a lot of navy releases. The 003 should be dark blue or black(?) not light grey.

I noticed the same and addressed both colors with HM....it was to late...by the time I mentioned it ...it went into production, meaning no further changes
The color Blue, as we all know, has had its ups and downs.
But it's better than nothing considering they could have said No to my suggestion of a Quasi Fantasy Mockup Antenna Testing plane in the first place
Regardless... I'm still getting it for my theme

Yes having HM listen to your request is nothing short of a miracle these days.
I'm not buying the "it's already in production" excuse though, last year HM were months behind with the release schedule and still are. It's easier to dismiss corrections that way.

Its really unbelievable how many trivial, avoidable, bloody stupid and at the first sight easily noticeable mistakes and overlookings is Hobby Master able to embed to EVERY their model....
I know there´s nothing like a perfect diecast model, but seems to me that HM is the absolutely worst manu in this area these days - please correct me if I'm wrong.
From those plethora of emails they are receiving every day from collectors all over the world they MUST KNOW this is their dark side, one of their biggest weak points!
No offence, but I really wonder what kind of ...... is preparing / approving new models into production?
....................................
Don´t they have any control / supervision / checkup system in new releases development? Or do they maybe lack of internet freedom to check for new releases details? Why other chinese diecast manus don´t then? Not speaking about HM´s headquarters is in HK anyway, factory (one of them) in Bangladesh, where (afaik) internet isn´t restricted (...yet).
In this situation, imho, the only way for those who want to contribute to better and more accurate HM models, is not to be waiting only for pre-pro images to point out the mistakes - that´s too late, but to highlight all possibly expectable mistakes in advance, already in time of releasing new Monthly poster.
And each email should begin with:
Dear Hobby Master,
Your existing product research and system for launching a new releases is - to put it mildly - very far from systematic approach, allowing to make unbelievable number of totally unnecessary errors on every release, is unable to eliminate even the most striking mistakes. Therefore I would like to bring your attention to several visual differences and things to keep an eye on coming release: .................... I´m just trying to help you to avoid any further mistakes and to preserve your work perfectly simple and easy as yet, but without sacrificing model´s accuracy and quality.
........I say we all take a vote to name Ladia as the Forum's Official HM Liaison
.......He has proven time and again to show impeccable interest and observations of unacceptable instances in the non-conformance of customary manufacturing standards demanded by the consumer.
.......He has also encouraged the full participation of each and every member here to join forces and campaign to overwhelm the HM email system by voicing your deepest concerns about design and manufacturing of models.
.......His title? Simply the non-Salaried position of D.A.C. Liaison Minister Of Hobby Master Manufacturing Foreign Affairs
......Ladia, you have my Vote!

Ladia has my vote to deal with chinese/bangladesh incompetence on a regular basis
BB, can you start a go-fund-me account so that Ladia can travel to Bangladesh to supervise production and to Hong Kong to show the chinese how to research things properly. Maybe there's an opportunity to slot into the role of QC Manager, pretty sure HM hasn't had one of those for about 5 years
In all modesty, I can just add: well, finally! Finally you/someone valued my awesome contribution to this forum! That it lasted!
My wife, my GF, children, mom, my probation officer and a local barber will be sooo proud of me.
And I really think I can contribute to great relationship with HM thanks to my ability to communicate HM errors in extremely polished manners.
BB, maybe you could inform HM about this.... ... I really wonder what would HM reply look like!
To UF:
To keep costs down, I thought I could fly to Bangladesh with B737 Max with stopover in Teheran.... . Just to avoid any bad luck I can throw some coins into the engines.
P.S:
On the serious note - I´m afraid that all I can offer now is to prepare perfect materials for real HM ambassador among us.
