Are you able to explain why Witty ergo also JCW and Herpa Fulcrums are so inferior? I only bother to dare ask because for the past 15 yrs, I've only ever heard a negative remark in regards to their gears being too fiddly to install. It's also way more superior to Corgi's Fulcrum in just about every way possible.
And aside from Herpa's price and both having the same fiddly gears as Witty, the response to JCW/Herpa Fulcrums has been rather positive. I'd go as far as saying that mould is one of their best sellers.
So far HMs looks good but it has the typical HM seam line near the nose and deep panel lines, something Witty was always commended for not doing. HM gears also look to be just as fiddly, the main gears are not in one piece.
Was it their schemes? Again a lot of people praised Witty's schemes, both in colour and application. Something JCW has dreadfully failed to achieve.
Maybe there's a technical fault to the mould I'm not seeing, can't say I've ever dug too deep into it's accuracy given I only bought two and only because they went bust, I was always waiting for HMs version which I suggested many many maaaaany years ago and gotten a lukewarm response to (as well as Flankers and Frogfoots

)
I'm also looking forward to some Ukr Fulcrums, there's at least 3-4 schemes I would get, including the digital.
I reckon Dave put it nicely in one of his threads, that Witty never really got the praise it probably deserved.
