I'll just go with why I would use one of these tools....

Let's say I want to buy a Corgi AA33402 .... As a buyer, I would want to see how much they had been selling for so I don't get ripped off looking for a deal when I go to EBay active auctions. The previous sales info would let me know if an active auction is either a buy or a pass according to my budget.

Let's say I want to sell a Corgi AA33402 ..... As a Seller .... I can see what other sellers have been selling the item for.... So that I would not want to lowball myself and the pricing I give the item to auction is competitive.....

Examples like that.....

See pic below...

Interesting info, BB, might be useful when browsing on ebay next time.

Anyway - would you mind to edit your screenprint, please? Having to look at AA33402 sold for 49 or 65 £ drives me insane and mentally unstable.... not good for mental health.

Don't hang yourself just yet Ladia.....if you did what I did to get the results....you can click on any result item picture to get the original listing and description of the auctioned item.....to save your life ... I will say that the description for the 49£ AA33402 states that it was missing the Apollo capsule from the diorama.

There.....you feel better?

Uaaaa, what a relief !!!!!! So many thanks, BB! You saved my day. Will sleep much better .

It can be handy utility on ebay, slight inconvenience is that its just a weekly interval - only items sold within last week. Is that correct understanding?

No....I just looked at one for the AA33402 which stated the auction ended October 14.....so I would not say it is items sold in the last week.....

They certainly goes back.....how far back? I don't know....

Remember it's historical sales data.....and it appears to go further back than last week.

Ok, I was confused by the "interval=weekly" But maybe it only says that data are processed once a week...

Normally, I believe, Ebay is storing most of the history for some six months back and thats all.
