No they weren't, if that's HM's final intent it's pretty lazy. Most payloads had all sorts of fine detail and I suspect HM isn't really prepared for that.

I'm glad to say that I don't think the Shuttle Orbiter models are going to be as much of a distraction as I first feared.

yups... pretty sloppy of hm. why bother with opening bay doors and poseable srms but ZERO detailing on the lab/equipment.
