Nice to see the Czech Flogger everyone wanted is being made

Not part of any theme, but I do love Prague and do want a Flogger, so will probably pull the trigger on this release..

Yes, if I were to get a Czech Flogger (highly possible at this point till pre pros) THIS was the one I was after. It's not USSR Flogger we are all waiting on but still a bloody good model for the greater Euro theme.

The photo looks real menacing. I'm really liking the shark mouth. I just Hope they could tone down the blue on the model unlike the previous releases.

First thing HM need to do is correct the nose cone and tail fin tip to white.

Yeah this is being made in cooperation with czech distributor (as most czech models are), and I know first hand they are very thorough when it comes to quality and correctness of the models they want made. The czech Gripen for example has been delayed three times because the distributor was not satisfied with QC and colors.

Yes I believe the distributor will get advice from members of the Czech Airforce on their releases.

This should be very interesting how the factory deal with this camo scheme given its possible the models get rejected.

I don't know if Modelyletadel.cz is a distributor as well as a retailer ....but besides a large assortment of planes...of which I have purchased 2 so far.....they also have a dedicated Czech / Slavik Diecast model aircraft tabbed webpage(s) here...

CZ and SVK models | Modelyletadel.cz

BB

EDIT: YES! They also are a Distributor according to their home page...

Not bad the same applies to the Polski version but i'm still saving my money for that future Iragi MiG-23 period.

Look at that Bort number all lopsided. Will the model reflect that, or is that sloppy museum work.

Good catch! After reviewing several pics online of 3922 in service, looks like it was applied lopsided from the get go.

So where was it based at? Korat or Udorn?

I am no paint expert, but if someone lifted the paint off this MiG-23 (Bort 3922) model and slapped it on a SEA F-4. I doubt anyone would howl.

Or used the paint from this one too.

Darken the lighter green so it's less A-26K (you know coz everyone loved that tone on it ) and then yeah, maybe it would be jerk off worthy

HM's paint dept is color blind, terrible to have someone chooser colors that cannot distinguish color tones and contrast.

This isn't just getting colours wrong but knowingly cutting corners. It's funny how the same colours on the A-26K are whined about but add them on a Soviet aircraft and there all of a sudden legit, are ppl for real ?
