Default Heads-up on new HM Phantom II

A heads-up for all you Luftwaffe lovin’ Phantom II aficionados out there: If you haven’t ordered Hobby Master’s F-4F, JG 71 Richthofen, HA1975, you might want to do so—now!

I just got off the phone with my favorite diecast vendor, who said he’d sold nearly all of his allotment already (he got them in only yesterday); I was lucky to get one. Believe me, I am just as surprised as you are, thinking this particular jet would hang in there, but apparently not.

Anyway, if you’ve been collecting Hobby Master Luftwaffe Phantom IIs, this baby is an absolute must-have. From what I can tell, it’s missing a white, four-sided graphic just forward of its port horizontal stabilizer. Otherwise the model's camouflage, colors, and everything else is bang right on.

I can’t thank myself enough for having purchased Hobby Master’s HA1904 JG74 “Molders” and HA1915 JG 71 “Richthofen” Phantom II F4Fs back in the day, not to mention the incredibly cool HA1948 JG71 38+33 "Richthofen."

If you don’t own these birds, get ‘em if and while you can. They’re fantastisch!!!

I want America to be great again, so I only collect HM USAF, US Navy & US Marines Phantoms but what is so special about this particular HM F-4 Phantom if I may ask?

That's a fair question, Surinam; and frankly, I'm at a loss for an answer, except that Luftwaffe F-4Fs are gorgeous, mesmeric, handsome, hunky, stunning, magnetic, tantalizingand did I mention resplendent?

It's just a predilection I guess. I own a slew of USN and USAF Hobby Master Rhinos, too, not to mention other liveried Phantoms, and I love 'em all. But something about Luftwaffe F-4Fs really does it for me.

If you're interested in this particular mount, I'd buy one before they're gone.

Thanks, UF! There's still hope out there. Grab this honey while you can, guys!

Might add that baronvlad is a terrific vendor (if I'm allowed to say so ).

Ordered two to go with the Code3 I made two years ago.

I will have a separate display for the final five Luftwaffe F-4s

I have this on pre-order, and can't wait for it to land.

Then I simply need to change the number on the grey JG71 Richthofen release (as mentioned by Shawn) and I will be able to recreate the Pharewell four ship shots too (which is what we're all going for here, right?), plus have the AC Richthofen special and the recently announced Manching Final Test special - a brilliant little group.

Shhhhhhh please keep this secret from my wife.....but I'm going to buy this bad boy....because I'm a sucker for those Iron Cross tampo's.

Unless anyone says different in the next 24hrs, ...on eBay US...they are available for $92 and free shipping. Is this a deal?

I could just see this bird nose to nose opposite an American F-4 and fantasize it as WWII 2.0 the Reboot

Well, that F-4 aircraft was originally made in America, maybe close enough? lol

Although I think you may already know this...perhaps for those who don't ...here is a historical perspective....in a nutshell Manfred Von Richthofen was a bad a$$ pilot back in his day....aircraft that bares his name, honors him.
